The Renaissance String Quartet makes their Cape Cod Chamber Music Festival debut, featuring violinists Randall Goosby and Jeremiah Blacklow, violist Jameel Martin, and cellist Daniel Hass. Founded in 2021 and rooted in friendships formed at The Perlman Music Program and The Juilliard School, the New York City-based quartet is driven by a desire to reimagine the string quartet as a vehicle for change. The program includes Florence Price's String Quartet No. 2 in A minor, Mozart's Adagio and Fugue in C minor, and Béla Bartók's String Quartet No. 1 in A minor.
