Ancram Center for the Arts presents Penelope, a cabaret-style musical that reinterprets Homer's The Odyssey through the eyes of Penelope, the wife of Odysseus. Written by Alex Bechtel, Grace McLean, and Eva Steinmetz, and directed by Steinmetz, the production stars McLean in a role she crafted for herself. The show explores Penelope’s untold story as she navigates isolation and leadership while waiting for her husband's return. Performances run from September 17 to 28, marking the beginning of Ancram Center's 10th anniversary season.
