DANCING WITH THE STARS - LIVE TOUR 2020 Comes to the Morrison Center

America's favorite dance show is going back on tour this winter with 'Dancing with the Stars - Live Tour 2020.' The longest tour to date will be dancing through Boise on March 20 at the Morrison Center. The all-new production will feature fan-favorite professional dancers wowing audiences with every type of dance style as seen on ABC's hit show Dancing with the Stars. The show continues its legacy of performing show-stopping routines alongside new numbers choreographed just for the live show ranging from the time-honored dances of the Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Salsa, Tango - and everything in between. In the longest and most expansive North American tour to date, audiences will have the opportunity to experience the excitement, glamour and glitz they see in the ballroom every Monday night live in their hometowns.

COF joins American Shakespeare Center, Florida Repertory Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Native Voices at the Autry, San Francisco Playhouse, Skylight Theatre Company, South Coast Repertory, The Public Theater and another 50 or so internationally recognized theatres across the United States as one of NNPN's associate members. Membership in NNPN will help COF expand its longstanding commitment to supporting new plays and commissioning new theatrical work.
Company of Fools Presents CRIMES OF THE HEART

Company of Fools (COF) will kick off its 24th theatre season with a production of Crimes of the Heart - the 1981 Tony Award nominee for best play and Pulitzer Prize-winner for Drama. Written by celebrated playwright Beth Henley and directed by Scott Palmer, the production will run June 26-July 13 at the Liberty Theatre in Hailey.

In January I had the absolute pleasure of seeing The King and I at the Morrison Center in Boise Idaho. I got to see Akina Kitazawa perform in the role of Eliza (to those who haven't seen the show she is in the second half of the show in the musical number ' The Small House of Uncle Thomas'). I got to talk to her about things from The King and I to dream roles within theatre. Her performance was absolutely one of the best parts of the show, filled with so much passion and beauty. The entire audience couldn't keep their eyes off of what was happening the entire number. Shes now in a performance with 'Theatre Under the Stars' performing 'Jerome Robbins' Broadway' which Akina will talk about throughout the interview. You can read that down below! :)
