Sorry to say it, because I've been pulling for Susan all along, but she's just throwing any goodwill that she had from "the public" down the drain with these antics. And she wanted to be a "professional singer." Well, part and parcel of that means being a "professional," Susan, not just a "singer."
She never learned the rigors of media, touring, and stamina-she just fell into it. It makes sense now maybe why she never made it earlier. She didn't have the chops for it. I do like her and think she will still sell a million records.
That's the one thing that stinks about these reality shows is that most of the winners are not prepared for what is coming. Kelly, Clay, Tasia and others have all said it was horrible and overwhelming at first. From interviews and information, it also sounds like SuBo may have a pre-existing anxiety disorder.

"I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello
Bettyboy is EXACTLY right and I was going to make a similar point, but figured it would be met with the usual nonsense that acoompanies the topic: someone has literally WRITTEN THE BOOK on the "Fame Game"
Rosie O'Donnell - CELEBRITY DETOX.
Love her or hate her the book predicts almost to the letter exactly what we are seeing happen with Boyle.
P
P.S. I just wanted to hear her perform the new LND song, but I'm sure ALW will NEVER trust her with premiering a new song now.
I think Susan Boyle's problems go a little further than what Rosie outlines in "Celebrity Detox". I sincerely feel that Boyle has emotional problems that are not easily detected. I mean, we have a grown woman screaming for her cat in a hotel atrium. (And, pray tell, what happened to the cat?)
There are other little clues here and there that indicate this woman has an abnormal personality. Yes she has a good voice but I don't think she has the emotional stamina for the rigors of show business.
Dollypop: Boyle's cat disappeared to the Heavyside Layer of course (and now it's only a "memory")!
MisterRussell: You wouldn't make such foolish claims had you heard what ALW has composed for LND. This is his best work since EVITA and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, and by FAR his most mature and sophisticated. After the abysmal WOMAN IN WHITE and the beyond bland Eurovision Song I thought he could only compose rubbish as well. I was dead wrong. Turd it t'ain't.
I feel sorry for her, truley. I hope she takes time now to take care of her anxiety or whatever is holding her back so she doesn't do irreparable damage to herself.

Pgenre - you sound like a devoted fan of Sir Andrew's, and I in no way doubt your fervor. Perhaps I am in the wrong to pre-judge LND's material before hearing it, but I have been so very disappointed by Lloyd Webber so many times in the last couple of decades ... can you blame me for being dubious?
Leave her alone? No one is really saying much of anything other than besides a nice voice she isn't terribly suited to a professional performers life.
