I have felt the same thing, occasionally I will ask if they do.
I have been right once, and gotten strange looks more then once.

Post your stagedoor pictures and some people might say they were there or better yet, tell you that they are the person in the green shirt in the back of your picture or whatnot. Haha.
I have met several BWWers at stage doors, or on rush ticket lines, and I'm sure there were more that I don't know about.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

The weirdest is when someone recognizes me from my avatar and is like "Are you Stephaniethestar?" and then I get all embarassed that that is my screen name. LOL.
But it's fun to meet you guys randomly!
and all that I could do because of you was talk of love...
Anyone know of a poster here named Sam (a girl in her early teens) from Boston? I met her at the Wicked stage door in London back in November. She fainted as we were talking with Martin Ball! Then I saw her again at Avenue Q that night. I've been wondering what became of her & if she posts here (I forgot to ask).

I've met some BWWers in "real life" a la the stage door/rush lines. Its fun to make connections. I've also met a few people who say they post here...but won't give out their online identities...hmmm?
Just last week on the "Raul Esparza Is Just An Actor" thread, someone posted a long argument and then said "On a completely unrelated note, movieguy, I stagedoored at Company with you once. I recognized your hat."
Although, honestly, look at the picture. How many 18 year old kids wear a checked golfers hat to a stage door? Not many, i venture to guess...
So I forgive the recognition.

I bet Ryan Evans would...

Well, when someone has such *cough* obvious connections, it might break some law to expose who he/she is online!
I think it's kind of fun to meet the people behind the screen names. And I have to admit, being called "Miss Vanessi" in public without first having been a bitch is rather enjoyable, haha.
It's like writing "Norma Shearer for the win!" in a Joan Crawford biography.
