Aaah, too many spoilers! LOL! My thoughts exactly.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
Kelli O'Hara and Will Chase are in a production of OKLAHOMA right now in Oklahoma City at the Lyric Theatre and they are phenomenal in the roles of Curly and Laurie!
Anyone else seen it?

"I'm tellin' you, the only times I really feel the presence of God are when I'm having sex and during a great Broadway musical." - Nathan Lane - Jeffrey
I think you misunderstood me. What I meant was that I wonder what the other people of B'way are doing when they're not bouncing from B'way show to B'way show like Sutton (Millie - Little Women - Drowsy - Frankenstein).
I don't have much time to write much, but let's just say if this production of OKLAHOMA were to transfer to Broadway right now...I am almost positive that Will Chase would win the Tony! He portrays the epitome of Curly. I've seen a lot of leading men that I love, but Will Chase in this production goes down in my book as my favorite leading male performance I've ever seen.
And Kelli...? I'm sure it's pretty self-explanitory as to how amazing she is. She sings the role with such ease and grace and looks beautiful on stage.
Also...the sets are gorgeous! Lyric really put on a phenomenal anniversary show.

This is my first time posting here, but I had to add myself to the list of people who loved this production. I saw the final performance last night (Sunday). This was one of the best nights of theatre I've ever experienced! Kelli was PERFECT in the role and I loved both Will Chase and Robert Hunt. Actually, the entire cast was great, as were the costumes and the set. The cast got an enthusiastic standing ovation after singing the title song, and I dont think it was because people thought the show was over. I wish more people could've seen this production, but it was such a limited run. And to top it all off, I got to meet Kelli afterwards, and she seemed very sweet and genuine! It was a great night.
