honestly, i hated it. i was completely disapointed. it was just too much. too fake, too dumb, too horrible. i honestly hope i doesn't win best musical or anything. the only one that should win, if anyone, is debra monk. wayy overrated. what a bore. a waste of $60.

"Say 'Goody.' Say 'Bubbi.'" ... "That's it. Exactly as if it were 'Goody.' Now I know you're gonna sing 'Goody' this time, but nevertheless..."
Dirty_Rotten_Guy: don't get me wrong, the cast is great. i just hated the story. it was too fake and it just didn't to it for me. i felt as if it was just a bunch of crazy people dropping dead. ughh dont't get me started please =D
"Those You've Known And Lost Still Walk Behind You"-Spring Awakening
You do you realize it WAS suppose to be a bit campy, right?
The cast is amazing. Debra Monk steals the show. She is anything BUT overrated. Before Curtains she never really was in a hit show (besides Chicago of course) and she's been honest about that.
I'm shattered and shocked! And really, really sorry you didn't enjoy it. I feel badly that you think you wasted your $60.
I loved it (obviously). I think there are problems with the book, but overall I found the show delightful. The performances are just spot on and I love the exaggeration of the characters and situations. As I sit, stand, drive, and ride wearing out my new Curtains CD, I find the music full of the grandness that is Broadway. The sets and choreography are amazing and although some of jokes drop like lead weights and are predictable, I laughed my butt off, even when I knew what was coming. It wasn't the best show I've ever seen, but even as I write this response, I smile as I remember the show. In the end - that's all I ask of a production.
Again Z, I'm sorry you didn't like it. Better luck with the next show you see.

^Lol. Right, ww? I wasn't a big fan of the show, but I found some redeeming qualities to it. It's really a show that people can dislike at the most. I'm surprised you had such a strong reaction to it.
"Sing the words, Patti!!!!" Stephen Sondheim to Patti LuPone.
ljay- Zeituojo is different than Zeitoujo. They're spelled differently. Zeituojo is a troll, similar to ruthanit, Dowypop, etc.

i havent seen the show but i thought i should post something without caps or puncutation and use the enter key a lot so people might think my post is poetic or
something.
