Does anyone know what is next for Celia Keenan-Bolger? Someone mention this in the Les Miz replacement thread but I though I should be it's own thread. I'm suprised she's not staying until Tony time because she's probably the show's best shot at a nod. Plus, she stayed in Spelling Bee for so long, I'm suprised to see her leave Les Miz so quickly. what's next?
... what does Norm Lewis have to do with Celia Keenan Bolger?
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
Just an FYI to Ben Davis...your website says "Ben will be playing Javert on the Broadway revival of Les Mis starting April 24" which isn't correct grammar. Oh well.
And yeah, I read that on the BWW about Celia, I was wondering. She seems to get pretty steady work. Maybe she'll be in one of the new shows opening in the fall. I wonder how her Dot would be? She has a unique look to her.
Celia is returning to spelling bee. I am one hundred percent serious. They just announced this casting....BUT, soon enough, celia will be back. it was part of her contract for les mis
I can tell you one thing coming up for Celia. On June 22-23, she will be joining Christine Baranski and Brian Stokes Mitchell at the Kennedy Center in two concert performances of Sweeney Todd. These will commerate the fifth anniversary of the Sondheim Celebration production in 2002.In a conversation I had with Celia after Les Miz in January, she mentioned that the entire 2002 cast will reprise their roles for these concerts (that cast also included Hugh Panaro and Walter Charles among others). I already have my ticket for June 22, and am really looking forward to it.

I have never heard the soprano side of her voice. Any place I can get clips of her singing green finch?

Glad to know other people think the crying girl looked like Celia! I thought it was her when I looked quickly but then I thought: Celia doesn't have braces...nor would she be crying like that.
I felt so bad for that girl though! I thought something was wrong with her. Turns out she went to a rehearsal and they gave her and some of her family members those seats since they knew how she would be acting.

The unmentionable site had that video up for a while but I think it was taken down. She was quite good. There's also a video of Celia doing a little bit of Light in The Piazza before it had made it to Broadway and, when she played Clara.
