holy monkeys! A stop of only two days?? That hardly seems worth it for the poor crew!

Ooh, this sounds good, I would love to see 42nd Street on stage for the first time and Les Miz for the first time in years...anyone ever go here and could tell me more about it or the quality of productions?
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
hi everyone! I live in Waterbury and I have to say the Palace Theater is beautiful on the inside. I would compare it to a smaller Wang Center theater, the sign on the outside is hideous though. It seems as though they ran out of money and stuck it up there at the last minute. I have not seen any touring productions but I have attended an event or two there and I think the place is beautiful. Sorry I don't know more about the productions themselves!

those are non-equity national tours. except for Evita which has equity leads and then Les Miz is equity. since the theatre has just been restored I'm guessing it's a nice venue. the quality of the productions can be assessed by reading their production reviews from other cities...

They didn't run out of money. They weren't sure which direction to go with the marquee (digital, traditional, etc.). The new marquee will be displayed for all to see on 'Community Day', which I believe is in November.

I've seen Les Miz over 50 times in 10 years, and the current cast is definitely the strongest, most cohesive, most enjoyable I've ever seen. Hopefully a year from now, the quality will be the same or even better.

Thanks for the tips/info everyone! Already purchased tickets for The Full Monty, and will purchase for 42nd Street, Les Miz and prob Miss Saigon after I talk to more ppl in the family to see who wants to go. Never saw 42nd street, excited, haven't seen full monty or les miz in years way before I had such a love for broadway and love Miss Saigon and hopefully will be able to bring family members who never saw it.

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space
I refrained from even listening to the cast recording/ any music from it... cause I knew I would catch the tour eventually...
