What do you mean by "flop"? Didn't recoup?

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Sunset lost MILLIONS and nearly led to Webber closing his Really Useful Company (he was forced to lay off a lot of staff).

I think I'm the only person in the world who thought Dracula really wasn't all that bad. It had problems, but could be easily be remidied by a month off for re-writes.

Was Brooklyn a flop? I really liked it, but it didn't do so well.

But alas, I don't consider it a flop....re: Favorite Flop

If Percy Blakeney were in Les Mis....

Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)

I also liked Dracula.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien
