True..... i'm aware that she is still working. I only meant to imply that she isn't as 'in demand' for big studio releases as she once was, even if that is by choice.
If there is to be a screen adaptation, someone needs to cast Michelle Pfeiffer as Norma stat! The woman can sing, is a fantastic actress, and hasn't been getting much work lately so I'm sure she can relate to the character
Don't think this will be available on Amazon or iTunes - her last 2 CDs have been done independently and available only thru her website or at her shows. I think she's currently not tied to any recording label (?), and this release should be no different.

The film and the stage show are completely different beasts..... The film has STUNNING visuals and performances, and Hedwig's back story is acted out (rather than told in monologue form as in the show). Seeing the film first shouldn't deter from enjoying the live show at all. And let me add, your first live Hedwig should NOT be Taye Diggs

I will always be bitter that 'the widow Goldman' prevented the recent revival of Follies from being filmed like most other Sondheim shows have been. The production deserved at least that......
My thoughts? Taking the camp out of the original musical is where the revisal failed, big time. Re-mount the original production, in all it's over-the-top glory..... that's what we want to see
