Just a general question: does anyone know if any current shows are doing cast-signed playbills in exchange for BCEFA donations? This was quite common before the pandemic if you made a donation to BCEFA and sent confirmation of that with a request/SASE to the stage manager at the theatre. I haven't made any attempts since Broadway reopened, but I was wondering if this practice had resumed, and if so, what shows might be doing it.
By the same token, are we allowed to write to individual actors for signed Playbills as before the pandemic, or is this no longer something that is permitted? (Sending back/replying, not the actual writing, I mean!)

A bunch of shows were doing it post show. The ones I knew of most prominently were COMPANY and TAKE ME OUT.
GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY is also taking donations for signed playbills (any amount) so long as the request is postmarked by end of May.
I never wrote individual actors, just shows, and quite a few shows have replied back.

Last month, I got a signed playbill at COMPANY. Don't know if they're still selling them.

It was only until…end of April? May 1st? They don’t have them now. Not unless you send a plain one to the theater to be signed.
