I think NATO needs to promise to give Georgia and Moldova entry if Ukraine ends up getting toppled. This sucks

And thanks to President Biden, an African-American woman is likely to soon be our newest United States Supreme Court judge.  Welcome to Ketanji Brown Jackson!

Very much so. Would have loved to see him when he competed in Ukraine's version of DWTS.

It would be so much worse. Trump would send our troops to help Russia achieve Putin's overall plan to overtake 15 countries to make Russia a true superpower. I can just see Trump flying over to shake hands with Putin to congratulate him on his achievement.
"

Oh goodness how wrong and sickening this statement is. Thirty counties including the USA, many from Europe, Canada, make up NATO which has the “fundamental goal is to safeguard the Allies’ freedom and security by political and military means”. One article states when one NATO country is attacked, it is viewed as a collective attack against them all, and the other NATO counties will come to their assistance. When NATO was created in 1949, it’s purpose was to provide security to Europe from the rest of the Soviet Union. While not a member, Ukraine is a partner, meaning, we/NATO can provide weapons to fight but we cannot fight Ukraines battle. But once Russia goes into a NATO country, then we can fight. Lets not say statements like this when you know they’re very wrong.
"

Looking back.on my comment, I realize it wasn't clear. By no.means was I in favor of Trump. No way. However, I can see that the way I phrased it was confusing.

It was so nice to listen to a SOTU address last night that wasn't filled with vile, hateful things. Biden's approval ratings went up after it and there's a lot of positives to take away from it.

If the person who started this actually thinks Ukraine would be better off under the watch of Trump... nothing they say can be taken seriously. The man was impeached for blackmailing President Zelenskyy. His secretary of state was given an "Order of Friendship" from Putin. His property empire was a front for oligarchs to launder their money. It was Putin who got Trump elected, and for a reason.

No one will ever agree with you that we were better off when a despicable, stupid, useless, racist, rapist was in charge. I love Joey Robinette and I think it's amazing that an adult is in charge, has been a great leader, and actually cares about America. It's cute you blame him for inflation after a pandemic. That's.... I don't have the words. You're in the wrong place but you have a great day in President Biden's America!"

Honestly, did you think I actually thought anybody would agree with me about politics on BWW. My main reason for posting it was because all that was posted here politically for a long time was how wonderful life would be as soon as Trump was gone. Just for the fun of it, play role reversal with me. If Trump had won and still was POTUS would you have blamed him for inflation taking off as it has the last year. How sad you think Biden is a great leader - OMG. FDR was a great leader, JFK was a great leader and Reagan was a great leader. Biden is not even close. Have a great day.
"

I think our country survived an insurrection and is part of a collective act of helping Ukraine defeat another autocrat (you know, the guy who Trump worships and fears). Democracy is the core of our country. The post Covid inflationary period is global, not just US. The economy is still strong and people are back to work. Since people did not spend a lot of money for 2 years, they have money to spend and the supplies are short. Thus, inflation. Basic economics. Vaccines were produced and distributed without any transition or cooperation from the previous administration ( they had no distribution plan in place). We can thank Biden and his administration for getting this virus to a less severe impact by promoting the importance of vaccines and masks (as opposed to a “leader” calling it all a hoax) Note that North Korea is currently totally locked down, another dictator not taking it seriously) Biden hasn’t been perfect but he is a stable leader who cares about this country, not his personal wealth. Looking forward to the imminent charges and corruption disclosure about the Trump family.

The fact that you would with delight post a video of the President of the United States stumbling while boarding his plane, shows what a ****ing right-wing Trump-loving punk you are. We are in the beginning hours of a global crisis, not of our making, and you choose this moment to demean the leader of the free world, You disgust me, as you always have.

His party is slowly turning on him, the media is turning on him, and his numbers are plummeting. The only thing that can maybe raise his numbers right now is declaring covid endemic and lifting all covid related mandates/restrictions."

I admit I never liked Biden but I have been surprised how far left he turned. I did not think he would try to IMO destroy the gas/energy industry by shutting down pipeline and stop drilling in places. I filled up this morning and paid $3.75 a gallon and it will get worse. His open border policy is really disturbing with millions of illegals entering country and many not checked for COVID. I believe 1 million people a year enter the country legally and that should be enough. Biden's over the top speech (Jim Crowe 2.0) about Georgia voting law was so bad that even fellow Democrats said it was too much. Nobody disagreed about getting out of Afghanistan but the handling of it by Biden was horrible and cost lives. I could go on but don't want to make this too long.

His numbers are plummeting because he is not far left enough (ha ha) for some in his party and the independents are concerned with inflation and supply chain of everyday items. In addition, he is old and appears weak. It does not take a genius to figure out he to put it kindly is going senile, many of us have seen it with elderly parent or grandparent. His pick of VP has been a disaster, think her approval ratings are worse than Biden's.

I get people hated Trump with his tweets and brash personality to put it mildly. I am sure people are glad that he has been fairly silent for the most part. That being said, if you ask people are they better off today than they were the last day of Trump's term, most people would say no.

MAGA folks really think gas prices and inflation are Biden's fault when, in reality, this is a global issue. We'd be in a lot more trouble if #45 was still in office. Hopefully Biden can steer clear of the impending recession and get us out of trouble before the next election.

In addition, Biden has acted quickly on the baby formula issue, evoking federal emergency action bringing supplies in from other countries. We won’t see this mentioned on Fox.  Even though these corporations got millions and millions to stay open for essential services during lockdown in 2020 (pre-Biden) why are there so many shortages? Where did that money go? (We already know the answer, CEO Bonuses and shareholder dividends)

There's been a bill on the table for years for gun reform. As usual, Republicans won't vote for it. Each and every single Republican senator should be ashamed of themselves for not voting on favor of this bill.

I am pleased with President Biden's performance. He inherited a nightmare created by the dreadfully unqualified Trump, and he has restored dignity and poise to the office. He's a fine POTUS and I will vote for him again if he runs.

By now it is apparent that Fox News has no depth to which they will sink (this latest atrocity they're peddling about the 10 year old rape victim in Ohio clearly shows that), so I really think the best thing to do to keep your sanity is to pretend that these right-wing crazies do not inhabit the same planet that sane people do.

I mean, it's a page from their own denying-reality playbook, isn't it?

He's starting to get this country back on track. Gas prices are falling, his BBB program has started and he's fighting freight charges to reduce inflation.

I would hate nothing else then for #45 to run again, but would Biden fair better against him again or someone like DeSantis or Ted Cruz?

Unfortunately, BBB never passed, thanks mainly to Machin/Sinema. BIF (infrastructure bill) did pass last year.

I think a DeSantis presidency would make the torturous Trump years look like a walk in the spring rain.

Because, as repellent as he is, DeSantis has a brain (a warped one, to be sure), and he has observed the ghastly Trump playbook of DO EVIL THEN DENY IT.

Bottom line: VOTE BLUE AND IF YOU HAVE TO RIG THE ELECTION, OK.

Kidding about the rigged election.

I think. Hey, MAGA keeps doing it.

Keep watchin' these great hearings, 'cause they make the Orange Blob upset. And more importantly, do not stay silent when you hear that the J5 committee "has nothing" and it is a (yawn) "witch hunt."

J6 committee has PLENTY, notwithstanding the most gawjus GOP congressman ever, Mr. Adam Kinzinger.

It will ultimately be up to Sleeping Beauty (aka Merrick Garland).

And keep rooting for Fani Wallis in Georgia.

And if you step over Miss Graham in the gutter near Ty's, call 911, but take your time. Call them when  you get home.

Until then, stock up on the popcorn, kids.

Funniest line, ever !

I still want to know how much he paid off those 'gay porn stars / escorts' from DC to keep 'hush' about their employment with him. They were going to come forward in 2020 with interviews, but then they backed away with no explanations.
