I saw the musical when it first came out. I hated it . A year or two later I thought I might have been having a bad day. So I went back to give it a second chance. I hated it even more and myself for going back .
I doubt I'll see the movie. I shall never understand why this show lasted so long.

Imho Some of the dynamics suggested in this thread across as rather immature and not the classiest nor best way to deal with conflict.
Gee. I stand up and tap dance along with the music. I see nothing wrong with it because I spend my money for a seat and I can do what I want when I want because it's all about ME !

The live recording is incomplete, containing only 70-80% of the show as it was performed at NYTW. There are probably 15 minutes of missing material early in Act II alone. Some of that material can be found on the original (concept) album.
They also added material and revamped other songs. The biggest changes were made to the 3 Epics, which have a different function and message now.

Anyone with the live cd recording notice if there are many lyric changes or songs added or dropped?
I'm really enjoying the music just wondering if I'll have. Haven'to relearn much once the 2 cd recording is released
