Has anyone else won lottery tickets via Lucky Seat but not gotten the email to purchase the tickets? This is the second time that I've won tickets for American Utopia. Both times I reached out to customerservice@luckyseat.com and both times they try to blame it on emails going into my spam folder (as if I didn't check first). I am getting notifications in my inbox when I lose -- so why wouldn't I get them there when I win? I'm feeling gaslighted.
I'm wondering if this is happening to anyone else.
No but myself and probably others were locked out of our accounts sometime over the pandemic and no amount of emails will get them to lift a finger to help anyone with anything. Awful company
I won Hadestown earlier this week and got a text and email at 10:53. However, I’ve yet to get one lose email before 6pm. I just check website daily to see when the lottery goes off.
On the american utopia win page - at least on my phone - i don't see a link to buy the tickets and the text message says they are sending an email with a link to buy the tickets so I don't think checking the website daily (which I do) would matter, if you win. You still need that email -- unless Hadestown is different.
It's super frustrating to win and not be able to go.
They tell me to reach out to my email provider about why I'm not getting their messages -- except I am getting LOSER messages ... just not winner messages.
I just went back and checked my text message. I thought it has the link to purchase but it does not. So yes you do need that email even with the win text message.
I entered the Hamilton tour (Jacksonville) lottery three times (for three weeks) and never received any type of notification by email or in my account. I did get an email between the 1st and 2nd attempt informing me and everyone else of $49 loser seats for the rest of the run. You got to pick the seat. So last Sunday I watched it for the third time in 10 days from the fifth row of the orchestra. I thought I'm never going to have that opportunity for such a low price. Unless I get a free ticket, I'm done.
Also entered for the Hamilton tour in Philly. I lost for each matinee I entered but haven’t gotten one email. I also lost for Moulin Rouge and Hadestown and no emails. I’m going to email them today because I’m happy to take the loser Hamilton seats.
For Hadestown, I know you can only win once every 60 days (or 90? I forget). But I just won for Wednesday matinee so that might be why I didn’t get a loser email for the rest of the Hadestown shows I entered. I’ve never won before so idk.
Hey ArtMan, you entered the Hamilton lottery through LuckySeat, right? They just got back to me and said, “ For Hamilton, a non-winner offer is not always available.”. So I’m wondering if this is a venue thing vs a Hamilton thing through Lucky Seat.

The email came from Lucky Seat. When I made my purchase I was on our Broadway Series website. I have never purchased anything with Lucky Seat so I don't know how that works. I am talkative with the venue's House Manager. When she saw me Sunday night, she asked about me being there again. She was aware of the lottery but not the loser lottery. So the only part of your post I can 100% answer is that the email informing me of the loser lottery opportunity came from Lucky Seat. And yes, each time I entered the lottery was through Lucky Seat. My niece won the lottery the first time trying (?!). She was unable to go on the performance she won. And couldn't go in person to pick up and give me the ticket. The winner announcement she received came from Lucky Seat.
I didn't have that specific problem, but I won the American Utopia lottery for tonight, and yesterday they gave me directions how to claim the tickets from the box office. Today I got a message saying instead I had to get SeatGeek and signup for that app in order to get into the theater tonight.
It's not a huge deal, but I don't like the shifting goal posts, and don't particularly want the SeatGeek app on my phone.
I just won 2-seats to CATS, showing in Milwaukee, WI. I previously wont 2- lucky seats 3-years ago in Milwaukee for Book of Morman. It's a hit ` miss thing, but I try whenever I can. It's just you don't know where they will put you. I was lucky for Book, as we ended up in orchestra !! Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming.
