WICKED 15TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT Oct 17

Yeah, the weird thing about the Pentatonix performance was you’d expect the whole point of booking them was to get an a capella version of a familiar song, and the band accompanied them anyway.
I think the reason the Popular performance popped more than the others is they took the time to find a creative way of representing the song, other than just having a really talented singer belting (as silly as I felt holding up turned off camera phone.)

Yeah, I got an invite after I told them I was willing to put together a goat professor costume. It looks like the check in for that is between 2:50pm though 3:20pm, with the actual taping occurring between 4:00pm-5:30pm.

I'm also going to disagree with worrying about too much prior knowledge. My teen son knows only the basics of Hamlet, nothing of Cyrano...and he had no problems understanding, staying involved. (My son is, of course, of above ave
I caught Bernhard/Hamlet tonight as well. It struck me as one great scene, with two hours of additional material (I thought the confrontation about the Cyrano de Bergerac script was the highlight).
So much of the story is about if a woman can or should play Hamlet, when a) everyone in play agrees that Sarah Bernhardt is the best actress in the world and b) for modern audiences watching this play the idea of a woman playing a male part isn't controversial. That just leave

Are you sure it was A11 and not A111?"
I'm looking at the ticket now... you were definitely closer, it was A110 (front row center).

With my ticket, they did stop me from entering and it scanned as "refund". Maybe someone bought real tickets took screen shots of their tickets on Ticketmaster, uploaded that on StubHub a

This happened to me tonight as well. StubHub gave me a full refund as well as a $50 voucher. I think the red flag is buying Pretty Woman tickets that will be sent as a mobile ticket. Not that mobile tickets can't be a th

Are the $32 rush tickets online hard to grab like Lobby Hero's? And what is a good recommended age? I'm kind of on the younger side of stuff (15) so I don't know if I'll be really uncomfortable with my mom here lol"
Your best bet is to go TodayTix at exactly 10am that day. I think it's actually pretty okay to take your mom, depe

I still think it's incredible and wonderful Second Stage is using their new Broadway space to present a Lee play - challenging but deserving of the exposure - as opposed to simply presently more traditionally commercial fare as a cash grab. It makes me thrilled they finally landed a Bway space and putting it to such

I had a different take on why the sets looked so cheap. The tone stuck me as very influenced by 1980s Saturday morning cartoons and broad comedies from that era, like how's there's
I caught this last Friday, and it was the most impactful version of the musical I've seen. Yes the set was kind of drab, and yes I'm sure that's largely a product of budget limitations, but while it's lacking the big set pieces featured in the Danny Burstein starring version that was on Broadway a couple of years ago, given that the story takes place in a very poor village, a sparse, drab set is thematically more appropriate.
I'm guessing they're not promoting it, because they're promoting sales at higher price points. They still have inventory to move but don't want to cannibalize sales from their existing digital ad campaigns.
Obviously this wouldn't be sustainable, but I think the only hope the show has of succeeding is positive word of mouth and that's impossible if no one comes to see the show in the first place.
I loved him on Drag Race! He was on Season 4 as Milan."
He patted me on the head when I saw it (instead of high fiving me, because my hands were full). I thought Dwayne had the best, at least most unique voice.
Overall, I thought the show was a really fun experience. I never saw the original version, but I appreciated how instead of having a forced, half hearted attempt at a story; they s
The preshow was certainly strange, but when Ty DeFoe and T.L Thompson (on for Kate Bornstein) explained it after the fact, I thought it was quite funny, if a bit ham-fisted.
The cast was, for the most part, uniformly excellent and funny. There were A LOT of jokes
