I watched the video, but the irony is that is WHY she’s leaving and less an announcement of her leaving. It sounds like it was already announced somewhere, as she’s she that she was “talked to her students about why I’m leaving Moulin Rouge”. I guess in the end it doesn’t matter, as it’s the first most of us are hearing about it. I absolutely respect her decision, but if there’s anything I’ve learned, there’s always someone else who WILL take the job. In the end every job in existence has corruption somewhere in the line. One person quits because integrity but they’ll just go pick someone else who’ll end up taking it. So then what?
Of course someone else would and could take the job. The reaction of "so then what?" could've also been applied to any ensemble member who did the same thing. (And I'm sure it will be if and when that happens — did it with Ryan Vasquez? I wasn't really paying attention to the response to what he said, so that's an earnest question.) And of course she's in a privileged enough position to do it. But it's a great first step that someone with this much visibility is being so direct about it.

Just to bump the thread regarding some recent casting news. From the Frozen tour news, I’m sad to see Jeremy Morse will not be returning to the show. Happy to see Shoba Narayan takeover Princess Jasmine in Aladdin, but that leaves the question of who will takeover for Nessa in Wicked…
Also, wondering who will replace Erika in Flying Over Sunset
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

Erika isn't returning ???? I know she got engaged recently . She's a buddy of Ryan Vasquez and they did both a bunch of volunteering and fundraising for the candidate I was working for last year so that doesn't surprise me even though FOS is a non profit production
According to LCT's official website, both Erika Henningsen and Jeremy Kushnier will NOT be in Flying Over Sunset, and the show will become more racially inclusive upon first preview and eventually, official opening.
Judith / Ann Clare Brokaw will be played by Kanisha Marie Feliciano in her Broadway debut, and Dr. Harris / Cary Grant's father will be played by Nehal Joshi, who was last seen on Broadway in the 2019 revival of All My Sons. The rest of the cast will stay the same.
Not sure if you only are wondering about Broadway but in terms of national tours, Bailey McCall won’t be returning to Waitress. Reason has not be stated nor does she need to disclose that unless she decides to.

Im
I’m assuming that Jeremy won’t be returning because his wife is having their first baby now. I doubt he wants to be on the road for that. Edit: but actually he just posted congrats on Instagram to the Frozen company saying “see you in a few months”.

Interesting...
I want to try to see Adrienne Warren in Tina but I don't think it will happen. Hopefully I can catch the original cast of Hadestown but it might not be until the spring and I'm fully prepared for someone to leave given how long they've been doing the show.
