Some trivial Wicked circa 2006 questions and image search

Hey, everyone!

This is my first time on a forum in years but I’m glad to be back! The last forum I was routinely active was WitchesofOz from back in the day.  I would normally be able to search the Elphaba /Glinda pairs thread or image search on that forum, but since I cannot, I thought I’d ask my questions here.  I’ve tried to do my research on the following but can’t find any confirmation. All is for personal interest and any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Wicked Broadway

 

• Did Shoshana ever perform with Katie Adams or Megan Sikora as Glinda? I know she went on at least once with Stacie Morgain Lewis.

 

Wicked Tour (Portland, Seattle, Toronto with Shoshana and Megan)

 

• I heard somewhere that Victoria Matlock went on for Elphaba s/b with Megan Hilty (in Portland, I think)? Can anyone confirm this pair?

 

Wicked General

 

• Who else other than Natalie Wiess (Elphaba u/s) and Amanda Flynn (Glinda u/s) were in US Wicked productions and never got to play Elphaba or Glinda to an audience?

 

• In a recent interview Megan Hilty said she performed in Wicked with 17 different Elphabas. I have no idea who the 17 Elphaba’s she performed with are. Who am I missing?

• Shoshana Bean told me that she KNOWS a picture of her as Nessarose DOES exist, but it’s been years since she’s seen it and she doesn’t even know where to begin to find it. She said the picture is of her as Nessarose with a winged monkey. Has anyone seen it?

• Likewise, does a picture of Eden Espinosa as Nessarose exist?

 

Off-topic image search: Do images of the following exist?

 

Hairspray: Shoshana Bean as Tracy (not the one that people mistake for Tracy), Leslie Kritzer as Tracy, Donna Vivino as Tracy Shoshana Bean as Velma

 

Legally Blonde: Annaleigh Ashford as Elle, Emily Padgett as Margot, Lauren Ashley Zakrin as Margot, Cara Cooper as Serena, Lindsay Nicole Chambers as Serena, Tiffany Engen as Pilar, Michelle Kitrell as Pilar.

A few things:

A good place to look for some pairings are looking at different pages of bootlegs people have. You can usually find a date with the cast and Wicked is one of the most popular. 

What are you looking for in the way of the tour stop with Shoshanna & Megan in Toronto.

There was an audio of Annaleigh Ashford in her one performance as Elle in September of 2007 somewhere out there.

Thanks for the response! So, that's actually one of my tactics. There are no audios that exist with Shoshana Bean w/  Katie Adams or Megan Sikora as Glinda, to my knowledge, so that's one of the reasons I'm not sure if those pairs ever happened.

My questions with the tour are if Shoshana ever went on with Laura Woyasz. I know she went on with Emily Rozek. Also, if Megan ever went on with Victoria or Maria. I know Shoshana and Megan had really good attendance on tour.

I know there's an audio of Annaleigh's one performance as Elle, but not sure if a picture exists.

Wow, I never knew Annaleigh went on once as Elle. I would have killed to see that performance.

She did. I believe Noah Weisberg was on as Emmett that night as well. It's interesting to take note that out of the 3 Greek Chorus actresses, Annaleigh Ashford stayed with the show on Broadway for the longest, which is only 6 months. Leslie Kritzer (who played Paulette in San Francisco for a performance or two) stayed for 4.5 months, and DeQuina Moore was with the show for 3 months. Haven Burton replaced Ashford as the second Elle cover, and I believe went on a lot more (obviously than Annaleigh)

I found the audio of her singing "So Much Better" from that performance. Not the clearest but still got to hear it. I love her.

This is a rolling cast list of Broadway, 2nd National, and London.   It has every main cast replacement history with dates, including standbys and understudies.

According to an old Wicked fansite that is now defunct, so take with a GOS, but it said that Shoshana performed with Megan Sikora, but not with Katie Adams.  Like I said, I could be wrong, feel free to correct me if I am.  I also believe Victoria and Megan did go on together, not sure which city.   I was thinking of making my own list at some point, a friend and I were thinking of starting a website, so a lot of this is written down.  I love to hear about the different pairings of each actors in Wicked.  That's interesting that Megan says she went on with 17 Elphies, I didn't think she had that many.  

My list indicates Shoshana went on with both Laura and Emily.
