I know they're doing a live filming in London (I believe in early December??) and it's showing in select movie theatres so that's kind of like what you're talking about!

Anyway, as far as dream casting, I would love one last hurrah from Colm Wilkinson, either in his bishop role or as Jean Valjean.  I love Philip Quast's Javert, Anne Hathaway's Fantine, Eddie Redmayne's Marius, Aaron Tveit's Enjolras, and Fra Fee's Courfeyrac.  If they would mix the best of the movie cast with the best of the stage cast, I would be so happy.  :'

And it would most definitely work; there are enough Mizzies still around and many high schools do Les Mis for their high school musical so the fan base will continue to grow as more young people discover the show.  Plus the message is timeless; they were singing Do You Hear The People Sing in Hong Kong the other month.  What I'm getting at is they'd certainly make enough money off of doing another one for their 40 year anniversary in 2025 (or hopefully even sooner)!

I have purchased tickets for the December 8th showing.  Really looking forward to it.
