I believe for the first time since previews, The Book of Mormon is up at TKTS tonight. Just saw it pop up about 30 minutes ago. It's only for 20% off. Wonder if we will see it there semi-frequently now?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I would think so. I can't imagine they would bother doing this and generating the inevitable discussion of what it means for the show to sell a few dozen tickets at 20% off just one time.
Just have to wonder when Wicked will start popping up at TKTS? It's not exactly playing to 100% capacity anymore.

Meanwhile this month Harry Potter has been regularly popping up during the week at 50%! I guess this is the fate all shows will meet in time.
I think Book of Mormon will sell really well at TKTS. So even if they start to show up there regularly, I don’t think it necessarily means trouble on the horizon.
Wicked was only at 83% capacity with ~2,500 unsold seats last week. It's really odd they don't put some tickets there, even at 20% off.

It's up again for tonight, last-minute pop-up. 30% off($148). Has it been showing up occasionally during the week?

From looking at Ticketmaster for tonight's performance at 7pm, there may be a chance we'll see it again on TKTS later today.
I noticed almost the entire front row center orchestra is available for sale. Granted I haven't paid attention to Book of Mormon since 2014, but back then I recall those seats were reserved for lottery winners.
It does appear they only put up a small amount of tickets about 90 minutes before curtain. The show isn't up when it opens at 3pm.

BoM is at the boards again, immediately when they opened today for 30% off. I'd expect their weeknight shows to be a recurring thing for the winter. Looking at Ticketmaster, they have a lot of availability during the week in January and February.

I would think while winter is Broadway “slow season”, it’s TKTS’s busy season.
