I'm also curious about this. For those who won, were the tickets already in an envelope when you picked them up?

i imagine its all already pre-decided before you pick them up, possibly even when you purchase them. They already can tell you the day before if they are assigning you to a Can Can seat so they probably also know where they placing you in the theater..

They were already in an envelope when I picked them up.

We got lucky with our lottery seats - full view, Mezz row J, seats 19 and 21. They are selling later in the week for $220 each.

i've been playing the lottery since it started and haven't won yet ... my husband got us tickets for my anniversary so we saw it yesterday during the matinee -- mezz row A -- seats 2 & 4.  Even though it's a full view -- not as good as other mezz row A's because of the high bar.

I've participated in the lotto on and off for a few months (never winning) and received a lotto loser code this week for Thursday night's performance. I figured why not, and purchased Row D center tickets for $99 each. If you didn't want to spend $99, there were many $79 rear side orchestra and rear mezzanine tickets to choose from.

I was fully prepared to see some understudies on a random Thursday night in January, but all the leads were in.

I think last night's show was their 200th.

Won the lottery this week and got orchestra J 24 and 26, honestly, the only good thing these seats had going for it was the price, other than that, they were pretty bad.

It was my second time seeing it, and it felt like watching a completely different show. Performance-wise, you miss quite a bit, especially in the second act, but the worst part is that you miss pretty much all of the beauty and details of the set design.

edit: it kinda reminded me of the off broadway Sweeney Todd lottery seats, when a lot of people mentioned that you are watching everyone in the theater having fun, but you won’t be part of the fun... that’s exactly how seat J 26 feels like.

Won today after trying for a while. Received row O seats 19 and 21 in the mezzanine left side full view. Great deal!
