While being kind and courteous, I'm curious to know which Broadway performers are odd or have weird views in person. Ex: I've heard that Christine Ebersole is a 9/11 truther and conspiracy theorist.

Why the "I've heard" disclaimer, hasn't she done (and been quoted in) interviews talking about this?

Christine Ebersole was once a registered republican, theocratic Christian, anti-vaxxer and 9/11 truther. I.e., Science is not part of her cognitive faculties. We don't know too much about Broadway actors, but she must by far top the list of actors I probably would never, ever get on with in reality. However, I personally can still enjoy her performances because she is just an amazing, charismatic performer.
How did she and Patti possibly get on during War Paint???
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

How on earth is your thread "kind and courteous"?"
Haha. Good point. I guess that we can talk about the issue without being mean spirited and being respectful about everyone. Thinking that someone has odd or usual views do not make her bad or evil. She entitled to have her own opinion, just like everyone else on here!
