Wow, when I purchased my ticket on May 29th on Telecharge, it said Kerstin Anderson would be on. That sucks! It's the reason I bought the ticket. Now it says, "Laura Benanti will not be appearing at this performance". Dottie D'Luscia is NOT a happy camper right now since I'm making the trip up from DC. I'm sure Shereen is wonderful, but.....

Oh, Dottie, that’s so frustrating!! They absolutely had Kerstin listed - I’m sorry to hear they changed it. I know how important it’s been to you to see her in it.
It’s been a huge puzzle piecing together when to see it with all of the scheduled absences. I’d hoped to see it one more time, but think I’ll just hold on to my memories of the perfect performances I was able to enjoy along the way.

Thank you, Addy! Yes it is frustrating. I sent an email to Lincoln Center Theatre about my disappointment (not that it's going to do anything). If I lived in NY, I would have no problem picking up a last minute ticket to see Kerstin. That being said, someone over at ATC said that Shereen Ahmed is delightful as Eliza, so I'm going to go in to tomorrow's performance with an open mind. I hope Kerstin takes the tour as it will be playing The Kennedy Center in December.

Dottie, I'm very very sorry to hear that too. That's super frustrating. Regardless, I hope you enjoy Shereen, Harry, Alex, Christian, and Rosemary this weekend!
I'll be seeing this production one last time next week.
After my initial disappointment finding out that Kerstin Anderson would not be playing Eliza at yesterday's matinee, I am happy to report I came away very pleased with Shereen Ahmed's performance.
She was lovely. My only complaint is that her diction in her first scene as a flower girl wasn't very good. I found her very difficult to understand. After that it was smooth sailing.
She has a beautiful singing voice and her acting choices were excellent. I loved her ascot scene.
For a show I initially did not care for, I'm glad this production gave me an opportunity to revisit it. I look forward to seeing the tour in DC in December.

Although the others were stronger singers, seeing Lauren play an Eliza who was a strong actress first and foremost was a game changer for me. It was exquisite to watch her reactions to her situation changing in such nuanced and deep ways.
Hilarious tidbit from Laura Benanti's show in London tonight, since this thread talks about her accents: She opened with a 15 min run through of MFL, which was hilarious. But she opened it by explaining how when she joined HHP asked if she was going to get dialect coaching and she said "nope, this is it, half Irish, half Jamaican. enjoy!" it was hilarious.
Has HH-P added the final Sunday performance to his schedule? Or, is July 6 still his last show? (The schedule for this has been complicated to follow...)

He has added the final performance to his schedule, so he can close out the production!

I know Benanti is out on Saturday July 6th so my guess is Kerstin will perform that day."
Does anyone know how we can find out what shows Kerstin will be doing for the rest of the week?"
I saw MFL last night specifically to see Kerstin one last time and lovvvvvved it! At stage door, Kerstin told us that she will be performing on Saturday but we forgot to ask which performance (mat or eve). Out of the three, Kerstin is still my favorite Eliza!
What does it have to be "vs"? Can't it just be "and"? I think they were all terrific and brought different things to the role. I would see any one of them in anything in a split second and I knew nothing about Ambrose and Anderson until seeing them in this.
