Finally saw this on Thursday and enjoyed it a ton. Thought it had a slow start, but right when he called the KKK I couldn’t contain my laughter. Thought the three main leads John David Washington, Adam Driver, and Laura Harrier were all terrific. I just need to give a special shoutout to Ashlie Atkinson and Paul Walter Hauser(from I, Tonya), who I thought gave some of the greatest comedic performances I’ve ever seen.

I started a thread a when the film first came out...but not too many had seen it.  I LOVED it.   Even with a little of the hit us over the head messaging.

And that ENDING.  Killed me.

Spike Lee’s dedication at the end... wow.

I've tried to get my very white and priveledged students to go and see it...those that have have loved it.

I've always really liked Spike Lee's work, but this just seems to have gads more heart.

I loved, loved, loved it. It was brilliant, poignant, timely, and needed.

Watched this a couple of days ago, and this thinking about it. An important film that EVERYONE needs to see. Hard to watch one minute. Surprisingly funny the next. Had my heart racing throughout. Those last few moments had me in tears. I hope this gets the recognition it deserves during awards season.

This is probably one of Spike Lee's best films of his career, everything from the direction, writing, acting was spot on and hit their marks perfectly. I hope this gets more attention at the Oscars than really good, but incredibly over-hyped Black Panther.
