August is upon us, and it is 90+ degrees in NYC, plus humidity. The AC in my office is barely working, and my desk fan is just blowing hot air in my face. I'm dreaming of fall, but it feels so far away. How do you stay cool in the heat?
I live in Charlotte NC so it is always 90+ in the summer - lol. One thing about the south, they blast the A/C to the max in every building you are in. Obvious things to do is to wear light clothing, try to find some shade and I have a small fan that will spray water on you which can help. (bought it for visits to Disneyworld ).
Oh, yes, and it's simply filled with books - you know, books are so decorative. And of course, with Bunny and Muriel there, there's so much to do. But no ping-pong.
Honestly, NYC in the summer might be the worst place in the world. How in 2018 can there be subway cars with no working a/c or buildings with no a/c.... it's just dreadful. I hate it. Having to live off of window units is just the worst.
