I'm unsure why, but this news made me want to cry with happiness. I love Carmen, I love Harry, I love Tony. I love new musicals based on new things. I WANT TO SCREAM AND CRY WITH HAPPINESS.
No Bad Seats? Aug 12

The Hudson came immediately to mind. I’ve also never had a bad seat at the gershwin.
I think this will be an event - people who love the Clintons and hate them alike will want to watch it. Both seasons of this show were excellent with fantastic performances, so I'm excited for this. It is interesting to look at viewership, as OJ did better in the US but Versace did better across the world. I believe this will be mainly US fodder again.

Names I’ve heard thrown around - Jordan Fisher, Jellani Aladdin, Corbin Bleu, Darren Criss, and Chris Fitzgerald. I’d also heard Ben Platt but I don’t think that’s realistic unless they play him quite a bit.

Anyone who doesn’t give their all in a matinee shouldn’t be performing on Broadway.

Jujamcyn isnt going to have to worry about tenants for some time by the looks of these numbers for all of their shows.
Come From Away seems to be slipping ever so slightly, but wow I still can’t believe they’ve made it this far.
I think it depends on if they ever stunt cast. They won't have to for at least the OBC and maybe a year after that, but if they play their cards right, they could stunt cast this forever.
I'm going to second Dave Malloy - he sings with more emotion than 90% of the actors I've seen. Honorable mention to the unique and rich voice of Anais Mitchell.

Of course she's not back.In fact, I think we've now reached the point where she's been out for more of her run than she's actually been in. Sorry you were misled (by very poor management of this disaster) when buying your tickets that you'd actually have a shot at seeing her."

Hadestown is very very sad for me as well. Even though I knew the myth

Several key members of the biggest hits on Broadway smoke (Hamilton, Hadestown, Chicago come to mind).
Hardest Roles Currently on Broadway Jul 13

Persephone (sing like that, act like that, and do those strange dance moves and make it seem natural? Good luck replacing the part)
Burr, obviously.
Karen Smith (this character could fall so flat without the right comedic timing)
