Carousel possible closing date#1

I was on their website and no performances are listed past 7:30 pm, Sunday January 6th, 2019

Is this the closing date?  Maybe this has always been the date? Curious as I know that the box office has not been stellar in the past few weeks. I am also interested as to whom will replace Renee Fleming who goes out 9/2 according to her website.  Is she planning to return in late October or November?  Her website is mum on that subject.  But there are gaps in listed engagements.  I have a bunch of friends who have posted to other sites "I am seeing Carousel *starring* Renee Fleming"  So obviously to many she is a huge box office attraction.  Interesting in that Nettie isn't usually considered a starring role.  But I guess her presence in the show elevates it to that and provides a lot of name recognition.

If Fleming was a significant box office draw, the show would be doing better than it is, no?

Not necessarily. She could be the reason the show has the sales it already had; she was the only reason I went, just by way of anecdotal evidence.

No one is saying there aren't people like yourself who are going to see it just because of her. But in order to be a "huge box office attraction" as the OP suggested, she's got to be able to pack out the place on a nightly basis at top dollar just due to her presence like Bette Midler has done as a current example.. That isn't happening to put it mildly. Ergo, she is clearly not a significant box office draw.
