I have two tickets to tomorrow's matinee of Frozen that I'm not going to be able to use. I've had them re-listed on ticketmaster for a couple of weeks, but they haven't sold. At this point I'm just trying to recoup SOME of the money I spent. What are my best options for unloading them this late in the game? Are people more likely to go to other sites (eg stubhub) for last-minute tickets? I'm not in NY so unfortunately I can't get to the box office. Many thanks for any suggestions!

Ticketmaster is your best bet... are you charging close to face value? Most tickets seem a lot over regular, so if you are charging close to face, you should be OK? Unless you overpaid for resale tickets and you want to make that money back, which may not happen.

Just bring the price down on Ticketmaster, someone is looking to go... just not at those prices.

I could be mistaken, but I believe someone mentioned in another thread that Ticketmaster doesn’t allow you to list the ticket for less than what you originally paid... so if you want to lower the price, stubhub is your best option... they have more than 100 tickets listed for tomorrow’s matinee however.

Also, if you are trying to sell it to someone on these boards, stating the seats and the price would help as well.

I can confirm that Ticketmaster does NOT allow you to list the tickets for less than what you paid for them on their website.  So, either Stubhub or try selling them on here for a reduced price.

That's a weird new option. That is unique to the show then, as I've sold many tickets below face value on there, unfortunately...
