Prior is not nude, Joe is, but you see him only from behind - unless you're sitting in front row

I was sitting in second row mezz when I went and definitely saw all of Pace, not just from behind.  That being said, it’s not an excessively prolonged moment. As far as age suitability, a mature teen should be able to see it with no issues.

I don't know if they changed anything since I saw one of the earlier previews, but Joe turned around fully during that scene. It wasn't just front row that got the full frontal view. It was an intense scene (reminded me of when I saw Equus, I didn't even notice the nudity until it was almost over) but it wasn't hidden.

I really want to see this, but may be difficult to make it back to NYC before the end of June. Anyone think it might extend past its set closing date of July 1? Of course, I’d also like to see it with this cast. I know it’s a very exhausting show for the performers and no one has a crystal ball, but just wondering if they might extend if they get several wins at the Tony Awards.

Perhaps this has been the case for awhile but Ticketmaster is selling the parts separately for a lot of performances.

Thanks Madson Melo and tictac - sounds like I need to find a way to get to NYC in June.

An absurdly appropriate follow up to Perestroika.

I saw both parts last Saturday (3/17), and thought it was just amazing. I would see it again in a heartbeat.  I did not have any trouble sitting through both parts, but I knew what to expect, having seen a production in Chicago in the 90's. Andrew Garfield was stunning, and Nathan Lane was great, but he was Nathan Lane playing Roy Cohn,. I had a little trouble with the Angel, as I was used to seeing a blinding white angel crashing through the ceiling, and this angel was definitely kind of ratty and I had to get used to the "shadows". However, sometimes you just have to sit back and revel in somebody else's creative vision.

The play seems more important than ever, with the disaster in the White House, his complicit followers in Congress, and their servitude to the NRA. (sorry, I'm getting a little political). I can only hope that the "World continues to spin forward".

On another note, I am an RN, and saw a young patient the other day who had developed Kaposi's Sarcoma after not bothering to take his ART medication. So this crappy disease is still with us. Be careful out there, take your meds, and take the PREP medication if you are at risk. Thanks.

Saw this today via lottery - I think my ticket was maybe partial view, but I could see everything except sometimes Garfield would be way stage left. But, I have to say, this might be the single most exciting piece of theater I've ever seen. I was just gobsmacked. Everyone was pitch perfect. And as someone who loves scenic design and production value, I was just amazed at what they've accomplished. The set is gorgeous from the whirling turn tables to the entire stage deck moving back to reveal an entirely different stage deck. Just mind blown. My only quibble would be Lee Pace. Something about his performance I just didn't quite connect with. But he's fine. I saw Part 2 in London thanks to a friend and loved it then, so def want to go back and see it here. I don't remember the Louis in London being anything great, but the guy here was amazing - and it's the same guy! So kind of cool to see performances grow and change. I thought Beth Malone was really great in her bit parts.

Did Angels in America everyday do cast signed window cards for Broadway Cares?
