I have a trip planned for late April and we just extended it two extra days so we could see the first preview of Boys in the Band. That leaves me with two more slots to fill and I am debating what else to see.We have Angels in America 1&2, Mean Girls, Frozen, The Band's Visit, The Iceman Cometh ,Dear Evan Hansen(3rd time) Jersey Boys (for my sisters umpteenth time)So I need a Saturday matinee and Tuesday evening show. My sister wants to see Three Tall Women which I really don't but my choice would be between My Fair Lady, Once on This Island or Carousel.I never gave much thought to the last two as I was never crazy for the songs I'd heard from those shows but the reviews seem great. Are there options I'm missing? Any advice is appreciated.
It seems Once on this Island has been getting quite a bit of buzz, that may be a good option to choose. We don't have too much information on either Carousel or My Fair Lady yet so those are up in the air at the moment.
Another option to add is Bernadette's Hello, Dolly!
I really think you guys should add My Fair Lady. You're already seeing some of the biggest shows of the season...how could you miss out on a landmark revival with an esteemed director at Lincoln Center?
I'll let other people throw out suggestions for the second slot, but I absolutely think MFL should be one of them.
Thanks for the advice so far guys. I saw hello Dolly with Bette and my sister is not a big Bernadette fan (go figure) I had given some thought to Sweeney Todd and love the Barrow Theater but wasn't sure which other to give up.lol My Fair Lady has been on my list for awhile and I'm leaning toward that option. But keep the advice coming
My Fair Lady. It seems like it'll take as a best revival this year! Once on this Island will also be amazing. I'm skeptical about carousel since Betsy dropped out.
OOTI has great reviews but bad box office so it may not be playing by time you get to NYC. Carousel and My Fair Lady both seem like great choices. I loved Sweeney Todd. I also loved (unexpectedly) Waitress.
If you don’t want to see Three Tall Women, but want to remain near your sister, she could go see that while you go see Carousel across the street. Don’t know if you’re deadset on seeing shows together, but that’s a thought!

What a great idea!
I went alone to Come From Away last week, when I was in NYC with family. It was a nice break. When the ticket taker said "Just One?" I said "Yep, I ditched everyone else". We had a good laugh.
Sweeny Todd should be high on your list, it's pretty wonderful.
Also, from your actual list I would order them as follows My Fair Lady Carousel OOTI
I dont think, however, you be disappointed in any of them.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Thanks everyone for all the helpful suggestions. A decision has been made..DRUM ROLL..
I am going to see My Fair Lady while my sister sees Three Tall Women. This has worked for us a couple times in the past when she saw Jersey Boys while I saw Lady Day and Cats on two separate trips. The second choice however came out of left field when she asked if we could see Children of a Lesser God. She had sen that Anthony Edwards was in it and loved him in ER Go figure. So I agreed since I always choose our shows for the most part and who doesn't like looking at Joshua Jackson. So our April/May Trip is finalized. We will see 11 shows in 8 days. I know I may regret not getting to see OOTI but you can't see them all if you live in Texas lol My biggest regret ever is missing Next To Normal. Again thanks for all the great advice.
Children of a Lesser God is high on my list....I love the play.
