Special, gorgeous show.  The talent was unreal, and the choreography was like nothing I have ever seen.  Closing way too soon, but most shows do nowadays, sadly.

This show is just the best, in every way. That's all I can say. Kudos to the cast and creative team for their hard work and the stupendous job they did, and for putting their heart and soul into it. Best wishes to them all.

This show seemed to be so explosive in talent and energy, while remaining to tell a beautiful story. I may have not been able to see the show, but have loved the cast recording and cast and plot since before the OBCR came out. I will surely be first in line to get a ticket for the tour, and look forward to a future where this show will finally succeed.

Such a shame.  I wonder if it would have done better had it not been corralled into opening at the same time as everything else, thereby getting completely lost in the shuffle?  My pet gripe.

A lot of extremely talented people have much to be proud of.  I wish them the best in their next 'gigs'.

For those interested, if you go to their Facebook page (are we allowed to post FB links here?), you can watch part of the finale and the curtain call and speech from today's performance.

Sadly, it doesn't show a cast member getting proposed to on stage after the show... cause that happened.

It was a great final performance. Three standing ovations during and as asmith0307 mentions a marriage proposal did take place after the final curtain on stage. Was a very memorable day.

Here is a youtube which also has the marriage proposal included.

The question on the Facebook video is it very choppy for everyone on just on my end?

Thanks

It was extremely choppy for me. I had thought maybe it was just my computer!

Jamie Verazin (the one who does all the big lifts and has ridiculous arm muscles - seriously, every time she is in the costume with the red/white/blue fan, I just stare at her arms in jealousy)

Thats very unfortunate. Hopefully it will be fixed or wonder if it happened during the filming?

Such an incredible show, sucks to see it leaving! The set transformation from the interiors into NYC was probably one of the most memorable theater moments of my life, I felt like a child watching it! I am fairly new to Broadway and I had never seen anything like it. Wonderful cast, incredible talent, great, great show! Glad it was here.

I agree it is a shame, really loved it in April and got the CD.

Brilliant show. So unfortunate that it opened in an incredibly crowded year of powerful musicals. If they had waited a few months, I think they would've been a Tony contender. Corey Cott was a superstar and the entire band got to showcase incredible talent. Really upset this show is gone, but hopefully it goes on a big tour and does well. America will love the veteran angle.
