SRO is sold after the rush tickets are sold. On two show days(Wednesday and Saturday), SRO for the evening show is sold after the matinee begins(2pm).

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Thanks, this is really helpful info. I was hoping to rush or get SRO next Wed night, but I can't show up until just before 10 a.m. and I have a matinee ticket to Sunday in the Park so I can't get back in line at 2 p.m. for the evening show. Is this a lost cause?

Pardon what my be a stupid question...

On a two-show day, if you're looking for evening show tickets, do you just stand in line anyway? Is there a separate line for evening rush? When do you need to show up?

Obviously, if I decide on this show, I would like to both get 3 tickets (here with my family) and minimize the time in line. And even though SRO seats are a bargain, I think I'd like to sit.

What time do they start selling rush tickets on Sunday?

bear88, even on two show days, rush tickets for both shows are sold when the box office opens. It's only SRO for the evening show that can't be bought until after the matinee starts. The cancellation line for evening shows tends to get very long on the weekends.

For anyone who has rushed recently, say the last week, where have the seats been located?  When I went a few weeks ago, they were up front on the extreme outside aisle and it was good but I think I may prefer standing room.  Are the rush seats always in that location or could they be more centered?  It sounds like standing room may be a better choice.  And....if you line up early and are one of the first there, is it possible just to let folks in front of you until standing room is offered so you can be first to buy standing room?

I rushed yesterday and our seats were in the upper box, house left. Stage right was a bit obstructed, but for this show the view was mostly fine.

Does anyone know if the box office sells partial view/box seats in advance?  If so, what do they cost?  Thanks!

I asked the box office and they do not, only sold during rush.

Hoping to rush on Sunday. What's the earliest people have arrived on Sunday's/weekends?

Someone was inquiring about rush/SRO when I picked up my ticket at will call just before 7pm, the person at the window said there were people camping out a few weeks ago but I believe he said last Wednesday he was able to sell a ticket about an hour before curtain. He definitely recommended the earlier the better. Tonight was SRO.

I tried seeing what was available for Dear Evan Hansen first and moved over to Come From Away when I was unsuccessful, so it was around 10:15 before I went over there. It had looked like there were about 20 people in line when the box office opened at 10.

I'm also interested to know this - I hope to rush this Sunday as well. Any tips would be super helpful!

I arrived at 06:50 this morning and was sixth in line. The queue more than doubled within the next hour and was stretching well past the Booth Theatre by 10:00. Got seats Orchestra D13-15.

Worth bearing in mind also that today was a two-show day.

I've heard the Saturday rush line gets crazy long. Can only imagine it'll get worse with a bunch of Tony nominations.

I want to try SRO for tonight's show but have no idea what time I should go to the box office. I checked telecharge and there are only 7 tickets left for tonight's show, so I guess I'm gonna try and stop by right after the box office opens to check

they'll likely sell them right after rush tickets have been sold. Box office opens at 10am.

I got in the rush line around 9:50 a.m. yesterday, there were maybe 50 people in front of me, but it was a two-show day. I wanted to go to the evening performance and ended up with one of the last box seats, the couple in front of me easily got matinee tickets.

For a $38 obstructed view ticket, I thought it was excellent. I couldn't see maybe three exchanges, and occasionally I had problems understanding a line that the whole ensemble was singing (acoustically, it occasionally reminded me of the time I sat on stage for Spring Awakening). But almost everything takes place near or in the center of the stage anyway and there's a lot of energy directed in every direction. I wouldn't have minded standing, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get those spots because they're closer to the center.

The show was TREMENDOUS. I am no longer annoyed with at all the critics who say it could edge out Evan Hansen.

I got to the theatre around 10:20 and there was still a line. I assumed all those people would be getting rush/SRO so I almost left, but decided against it. Good thing too, cause most of them were just picking up/buying tickets, and I was able to get standing room for tonight! :) Can't wait!

It seems like SRO is becoming available for almost every performance as the show is selling out. SRO will be available all weekend. Sometimes during the week, SRO doesn't become available until later in the day.

I arrived at 9:30 am Sunday 4/16 and was 6th in line. I purchased a rush seat (B10) that was very close and really on the side, maybe too close to the speakers. I wondered if I would prefer standing room, but figured it was okay for my first time at the show. While waiting for the show to start, I discovered that the woman next to me had bought the last rush seat and her fiancé had standing room right in the center--so because I'm a true romantic (and I thought I'd like it better), I gave him my seat and took the standing room. It was a great decision--loved the view from the center back, and heard every word. What a wonderful show! Go!!

Thank you so much for switching seats with me. It was wonderful to be able to experience the show with my fiancé. It surprisingly wasn't loud at all being that close to the speakers and we missed maybe 1 minute of the entire show  due to sight lines and things were so fast paced I didn't care. I'm glad the standing room ticket worked out for you!
