Actually, someone on instagram today mentioned being as close to the elephant as the photo shows. After 3 hours, they are 1/3 of the way there! Moreover, this is during the school/work day so all of the young Malloy stans haven’t even seen this yet! Is it likely that it will continue at this rate?
IMO it should have been a limited run so it can actually fill the Belasco. If I were a tourist, I would not want to see a musical as depressing as this, so they should have done a limited run.
Or they should have gone to CITS.
