OK folks, I saw there was a thread for 2015 drinking games so I thought I'd open one for 2016 and see what y'all had in mind...
I'm looking for both drinking game situations to drink to and also just some fun (and easy to do) cocktail ideas. Also, hoping to find some (affordable) wines out there that have show related names if possible. Any ideas?
Lastly, anyone recommend a cheap Russian vodka that's not Taaka? I'd love to use Vodka for the game shots in honor of The Great Comet opening in the fall.

This is ACTUALLY the plan for my Tony party. We got some weak stuff for it though. We don't wanna end up passed out before the half way point on Tony night. Been talking it "Hamilshots" for a month now.

HA!
Drinks - My shot (of anything) - Apple Pie-tini (just an appletini) - Bloody Psycho (bloody mary) - Cola Purple (cuba libre w. Chambord) - Bright Stir (bourbon & mixer) - On Your Feet! (Red Bull drink) - Shuffle Along (TAP water) - Dewey Rocks (Mountain Dew drink w. ice) - Romantic Atmosphere (made with vanilla ice cream)
Food - A platter of Ham n' Tuna sandwiches? (choice of different fillings not on the same sandwich - yuck) - Integrate Patrick Bateman business cards somehow (perhaps to identify items on a buffet?) - Pie (not familiar enough with Waitress to specify a type) - Purple something - Vanilla Ice Cream
So I've been reading the boards for months, but I got so excited by this post that I made a profile so I can share what I'm making. I really wanted to make a drink for every Best Musical/Revival nominated, but alcohol is expensive, so I decided to narrow it down. Here's what I have so far:
Hamilton: it's a shot obviously. I found a website about colonial drinks and the cocktail is called a "Stone Fence." It has dark rum and hard cider in it. Here's the website:
Waitress: I'm making an apple pie shot. My friend's coworker makes them and he gave us the recipe. It's Bailey's, Fireball, and 1/4 ounce real pineapple juice. Don't ask me why, but I swear it comes out tasting like baked apples!!!
Also perhaps - ALEgiance (ale-based shandy) - Dame's Etsy (served in a hand decorated glass) - L'Chaim - (made with Russian emigrant vodka like Smirnoff) - DISASTER! (a dropped shot of honey liqueur in beer, with an ice ball dropped on top and then flamed)
