By the love - love the set! Very cool. Ensemble is great. Mark, Roger, and Tom Collins all doing well. We'll see how Maureen does,"

Wow some of the vocals are harsh. Agree that BVD and Fisher are the only ones holding their own.
Debating recording (since it is recorded already) and watching some other time-but I would just put my DVD of the last performance in instead

Huh? This 'tour company" charges (almost) the same as Broadway prices. The show, as advertised, is "BETTY BUCKLEY in HELO, DOLLY!" It is billed t
I book to see a show, an ensemble. I'm sorry you're missing out."
When the producers book the tour, they booked this one on Buckley being the lead. Rarely (if ever) has a season subscription come with a name above the title. They would not have been able to sell the tour without a name (Dolly is a great piece and this is a good production) because outside of the fervor about Midler this wasn’t a ‘hot ticket&rsquo

Sheesh. I said I was disappointed. That’s all. It just seems she has missed most of Orlando as well as some other tour stops. Yes it’s cold and flu season. I understand. Doesn’t mean I can’t de disappointed. Except here.
So if you paid to see Beyoncé you wouldn’t get her understudy and be ‘exoected’ To not be disappointed
That’s all

Got to the theatre in Orlando and there is an insert. Disappointed. She seems to be missing a lot of shows
I am glad they dimmed all of the lights for a Broadway legend.
However, when Kyle Jean-Baptiste died, the Imperial (where Les Mis was playing) dimmed their lights (understandably). With only one theatre doing it, I found it very communal and moving. Personally I would love to see the theatre most associated with the performer be the only one to dim their lights so there was a single place for the community to be together.
Why are we all ok with color blind casting but are against age-blind casting? If someone's age takes you out of the moment, then what about race? disability? age is a slippery slope we shouldn't go down.
If you someone who would be upset because their IP is being bootlegged they should complain if they feel so inclined. The rest of us should not police others (which is generally a good rule in life) unless asked for help.
Personally, the only bootlegs I watch are youtube videos of shows I have already seen as a 'reminder' of the experience (like an OBCR). I have tried and get nothing out of watching a bootleg of a show I have not seen.
"Wonderland" is unrecognizable from it's Tampa and Houston tryouts - and it didn't help a bit (Actually liked the Tampa version better, but it was still meh)
The Palace is also set up badly from a merchandise situation-I have been in the last row of the mezzanine and heard the printer from the merchandise stand throughout the performance (I had no idea so many people left during a show to buy a drink/candy)
to the OP - if there is a next time, ask for the house manager during intermission. They are usually very helpful in fixing a variety of situations.
I have seen Wicked more times than I care to admit (have a daughter with a slight addiction to it) and have been over and under whelmed based solely on the leads.
I agree with something rotten- LOVED it the first time, enjoyed it (but not nearly as much) the 2nd time.
