Well.. it's a good thing this will be a limited engagement.

Certainly interesting subject matter. Anybody see it on PBS? Any good?

Several irregularities make me a bit skeptical this is accurate. First, it has not been registered nor has there been a press release. Second, this "limited run" is described as a prelude to a tour lasting only one month. (Is this a one-off on Broadway like the original staging?) Third, in what precinct was this well-received on PBS? Finally, is this DOA project really the best thing the Nederlanders could conjure for this spring? (Is the Simon really so far off its game as the recent experience would suggest?)

I you would imagine they would want to start in March to take advantage of st Patrick's day.

This sounds like a punishingly solemn and humorless evening in the theatre.

It's actually quite uplifting and poignant, and considering that the 100th anniversary of the events this is based on is April 24-29, pretty timely too.

Not sure that's fair (here is an excerpt: https://vimeo.com/139468572) but it seems very flatfooted.

It may be officially something but it is not a Broadway show at this point. I'm guessing this is hyperbole for a PBS special event but I will wait for confirmation. Upfronts held in Broadway theatres are not Broadway shows either.
