Sad to hear of Ann B. Davis' passing. I saw her as "Mother" in the "Crazy for You" tour when it played the Shubert Theatre in Boston back in March 1994. I recall she got warm, enthusiastic entrance applause. Here's a photo from the program insert (which featured images of the tour's replacement cast members, of which Ms. Davis was one).
I'm old enough to remember "The Bob Cummings Show". ( or was it called "Love That Bob"?) and her hilarious performances as his secretary. I think she won Emmys for it and deservedly so. RIP Ann B. Davis
The show's initial run was split between NBC and CBS as The Bob Cummings Show. The show then went into daytime reruns on ABC as Love That Bob and later into syndication under that second title.
Davis won two supporting actress Emmys playing Schultzy, Bob's secretary. She was fine as Alice but to us dinosaurs she'll always be Schultzy.
