I was wondering if any of you know what ever happened to Deborah (Debra) Yates from "CONTACT"? Haven't heard anything about her since she left the show...

I do not know what happened to Debra, maybe she'll be appearing in the film version of CONTACT. I know Holly Cruikshank, who originated the role on the TOUR of CONTACT will be appearing as BRENDA in the National tour of MOVIN' OUT. She also appeared in the Bway companies of Contact and Movin' Out.

COOL! If you saw the tour...then you saw my Hometown Inspiration Mindy Franzese Wild as The Girl on the Swing! I wish I could have seen the tour but I caught the final Broadway company with the fabulous Colleen Dunn (Girl in the Yellow Dress) and Charlotte d'Ambroise (Wife).

Deborah eventually took over Girl in the Yellow Dress on tour, from what I heard, but other than that I don't know anything else.

The film is in development but I haven/t heard anything about a shooting date. Wait & see.

Good question about Deborah (discovered that was the correct spelling). A short bio on broadwaystars.com with a link to her website, but it comes up as not in existence. No recent news articles on her.
