Yes! Love it. My favorite moments are when things don't go quite as planned and Michael's reactions. That's part of what we love about live theatre.

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
Yes! The DVD is very good. I saw Jim Dale on Broadway and thought he was VERY good. I really like Michael Crawford in the role, too. He portrays such a lovable innocence in a role of such a master manipulator. However, I much preferred Glen Close's Charity to the actress in the DVD.
I too wish Glenn Close was on the DVD recreating her role. I also wish Jim Dale was too. I've seen Michael Crawford in all three of his Broadway roles but except for maybe PHANTOM was never that impressed with him. Jim Dale on the other hand won me over immediately in BARNUM. It's really a shame his performance wasn't caught on video.
It's definitely worth it! Now in regard to the Broadway original cast, I'm listening to the cast recording now and I think Glenn Close was the better Chairy, but it seems like Crawford had more vocal energy than his Broadway counterpart. Was that just the quality of the recording or is this true?
Terri White is great in the role too. I don't like this version of The Museum Song without the ensemble at the end though, they made it seem more frantic.
