I would like to rush Once on Saturday, December 15. I would get there at around 7:15, due to the first bus leaving at 6:30 from my hometown. Would I get tickets to either of the performances? Doesnt matter which one, just want 2 tickets to one of them. :)
I think you should be fine. I went on Friday (11/23) and got there at 8am and they just sold out of the rush tickets before it got to me, but I wanted SRO, so it worked out for me.
after rush is sold, they'll sell SRO if the show is sold-out. considering this time of year, SRO will likely be sold for most performances.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I went this morning, January 5, and I got there about 9:50. They sold out of the Rush and SRO about 5 people in front of me. The line was to the Schoenfeld Theatre when I arrived. It was a two show day, so they had double the tickets. I would guess if I would have arrived about 9:15 I would have got tickets
Bump. Anyone have a say? I am sure it is not as difficult as it was before, but I don't want to chance it. I am interested in the Sunday mat. and would like to no a feasible time to arrive. Thanks.
I rushed on 1/27 for the matinee and arrived at 7:50am. I was 4th in line. Incredible show, but the obstructed view box seats were pretty terrible. Good luck!
Is that what they give out or are there more seats than that? I am greatful for the rush seats at a lower price, but if I can get a better seat for a little more I'd rather do that, you know?
Standing room is GREAT for this show! The only bad part is standing for a while... the first act is a breeze but when the second act gets slow and emotional, standing can become distracting. At least, it did to me! But still, $27 is not bad!
How has this been lately (especially during the week)? I'd like to try rushing this week with a friend and I'm not sure how early we would need to get there.
Has anyone rushed Once lately? I am wondering what kind of seats they generally have for rush. Thinking I might finally check this show out. Thanks in advance!
For those who want know about rush: I rushed Once this past Saturday (8/9). I meant to get there at 9 AM, but did not make it till about 9:25 because of traffic. I was about 20th in line or so, and got the last two rush tickets for the matinee show. So I would definitely still get there a bit earlier if anyone wants to rush a weekend show. The seats I got were in the boxes. My view was pretty obstructed because my seat sitting in the box - I would say I could see about 40% of the show, so I moved during Intermission to the Mezzanine for a much better view. Loved the show, it was beautiful, and the cast was amazing! Now I wish I had seen all of Act I - I missed seeing Guy and Girl during the entire song of "Gold," so that was kind of disappointing. I might go back and buy a better seat.
