Why aren't they doing "who's that woman" ?!

Because they aren't. They are featuring one of the nominees. Since the production has no sale value after it closes why spend the money to do "Who's that Woman".

Does the production have the opportunity or money to tour? I would definitely want to see it here in my neck of the woods. I'm sure it has the potential to, maybe not with the same cast, but IDK... what do you think?

Also realize that they rap in LA the day before the Tony's so they don't have a lot of rehearsal time compared to other shows, and it would be really expensive to fly basically the entire care to NYC, because its on the producers dime if they all perform like they do in Whose that Woman, but its on the actors dime if they only attend.

I thought I read somewhere that Terri White does not like flying. She did drive to LA from NYC. And since the show closes the day before the Tonys, I don't think she would make it back. Its a great number, but it does require at least the 14 actresses, and would be expensive.
What I really want to know is will Kiira reprise her "Margie" since she didn't go to LA with the show and is currently an understudy in "anything Goes"?

Kiira said on twitter that she will indeed be Margie at the Tonys. Follies performance at Tonys

She was great in that number.

That is awesome and pretty nice of the producers to let her do that. I would have assumed her replacement would have done it, but judging from the video she just didn't have any on the comic timing that Kiira did.

I know this is relentless but I still think they should have got Bernadette to sing something too. Most famous song in the show (certainly the most widely recorded including Liza Minelli's strange version) + most famous actress associated with the show + reason for the revival's existence + is available/won't be fatigued from LA. But whatever. I hope Danny wins the Tony to make it worth the spot Follies performance at Tonys, if that's what they are going for.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Except Bernadette wasn't nominated. It would be a little bit of a slap in the face to not feature any of the four Tony nominees in favor of someone else.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Nope, except they could've done Broadway Baby which would then segue into Waiting for the Girls Upstairs (one of my favorite numbers.)

That would feature all four nominees and would also include Bernadette. It would also be relatively easy and wouldn't require much in the way of big scenery or anything. The songs could've gone well together too. Alas, looks like the decision has already been made.

I wish they would Do I'm Still Here. I think the song would have a new meaning seeing that the person singing it was overlooked. The lyrics could easily be tweaked to poke fun at it.

I'd love to see Elaine perform at the Tonys, but it wouldn't make sense to do a song with one person who wasn't nominated.

Yeah, I'm over it now. It is what it is. I guess we're lucky to get any kind of Follies performance considering the circumstances. At least Bernadette will be introducing Danny. I assume that will also be the moment at which a mention of her honorary award will happen. They don't broadcast those awards live, do they?

It would have been even cooler if they had done "Bolero D'Amour" with the original Michael Bennett choreography.

The entire television audience would have gasped aloud en masse and said, "Oh-em-gee! We finally get to hear it live with an orchestra!"
