I am probably asking a dumb question but I usually get all of my music online. I am not seeing any information about B&C being released digitally.

In fact.. it seems Amazon may be the only place to have it. I don't want to order yet if I don't have to.. but where is usually a good place to get it? Are OBC different in that they aren't necessarily always available on iTunes right away?

Thanks!

I was literally just about to post about this... The BONNIE & CLYDE cast album was released on iTunes today! Search "Bonnie & Clyde Broadway" or "How 'Bout A Dance." I'd post the link but my iPhone won't copy the iTunes store link. I'm getting the CD and am very excited to hear it!

On itunes you can't find it until you search with "How 'bout a dance"..and the cast album appears...so glad to get this in the UK. Off to listen.

Here's the direct album link:

It's because it's listed as 'Bonnie & Clyde' instead of 'Bonnie AND Clyde.' Also,, if you're a fidelity nerd, it's great digital quality as listed on iTunes.

It would have been nice if they announced the early digital release somewhere! I still like the La Jolla version better, but I'm going to try and enjoy this recording for what it is.

Listening now. Great recording! Glad it was captured. I'm in the minority, but I really liked the show as a whole.

I actually love the score! The book was fine but certainly didn't help but it really didn't deserve the treatment it got from the critics. This recording is great!!

Unlike most Wildhorn albums, this was done in the style of the show. WONDERLAND, DRACULA (concept album) and Civil War (concept album) were done in more pop formats and stand alone songs than this, so it is refreshing to have an accurate "performance" of the musical. Hope the Tonys will remember this in their votings.

Great to have Jeremy Jordan sing "Bonnie," and of course, Laura Osnes and Melissa van der Shyff sing "You Love Who You Love," especially.

You have no idea how excited I am. I was not expecting a response like this.. haha. It was so hard to find without the "How 'bout a Dance" clue. Can't wait to listen.

I was really sad when this show closed so quickly, wish it had been given more of a chance to gain a audience. Critics hate Wildhorn for some reason, will gives this recording a chance in near future.

I really enjoyed the show, yes it was flawed but very well done and i loved the score. Did not understand why the reviews were so negative (other than them hating Wildhorn). The show is far better than a lot of the drivel playing at the moment. Just purchased the cast recording and its superb

^I'll never understand why the critics trashed the show so bad. Even if you hate Wildhorn it should still be acknowledged that this was probably his best Broadway effort so far in terms of the quality of the score and what was easily the best book for any of his musicals so far. And that's WITH all the unnecessary changes they made from La Jolla to Broadway and it was still decent? That's saying a lot.

It's so great that they recorded this show even with the short run they had... I loved the score and the actors' performances. I'm glad I got the chance to see it when I was in NYC this past november...

Been listening to this all day - The performance I tried to get tickets to was sold out, so I'm glad that the score was recorded. I'm actually surprised this was trashed so much by critics - the score is pretty consistant and, I think, very good. I wonder if he had written the score under a different name, if the critics would've been so hard on it...

Just some thoughts... overall I'm very pleased. I'm not ecstatic. I saw the show first in La Jolla so I really miss "Short Order World" and "Sixteen Years," but if we could only get one cut song "This Never Happened Before" was easily the best song in the show in the La Jolla Playhouse production so to have that as a bonus track is a joy.

There are a few things that I find slightly irritating. Without any dialogue the prologue music is kind of puzzling and the transition from the scratchy old sounding music to the actual band is kind of awkward.

I'm not a huge fan of the way Jeremy does his country/pop twang for every song. There are some moments where it's appropriate and others where I think he overdoes it and it's slightly distracting. "This Never Happened Before" with the solo piano accompaniment definitely didn't need it. He should have just let the song be. It's pretty. It doesn't need his help to shine.

I hate tracks that fade out on cast recordings. It's a bit of a pet peeve. "What Was Always Good Enough" was given a button on the demo recordings and here it just fades out at the end. I would have preferred the button.

I hate to be one of those people who insists that a riff makes a song, but I really miss the way Laura used to sing the last "dusty aaaaair" in "Dyin' Ain't So Bad." I miss the riff.

Other than those things, it's an enjoyable listen. I'm never going to be completely happy because I liked the show better in La jolla and would have rather had a cast recording of that production, but the fact that we got a Broadway cast recording at all is pretty spectacular so I can't complain too much. I will definitely buy the CD to have in my collection as a bit of a reminder of the show I enjoyed so much in La Jolla.

I definitely prefer the orchestrations I heard on some audios of the show. My favorite part is in You Love Who You Love when Blanche sings, "and you never think what's down the road while the fairy tale seems real" and it's followed by this drum solo and horn trill. I had the audio for it on repeat for a week just because that one part was so perfect, sadly it's not done the same way on the cast recording.

Can't wait to download this!! I was listening to the demo last week thinking "Bonnie", "Dyin Ain't So Bad" & "That's What You Call A Dream" are perfect!

I just got mine this morning. Too bad the show isn't going up now. I wonder if it would've had a better chance of finding an audience if it had waited until now to open.
