This is probably an inane question, but I'm just curious. Does anyone know who the celebrity was who attended Memphis yesterday (3pm show)? As we exited the theater, there were police guarding (and ushering people away from) a limo (with "music" plates). The person(s) got into the limo and it left. Told you it was an inane question..... :)

I heard through the grapevine that Mr. Zac Efron was in attendance yesterday. That might very well be why there were police present... in case of fangirl attacks.

Edit: Long shot, but maybe he was approached for the movie and was checking out the show.

Didn't he say he didn't want to do musicals anymore?

ZAC EFRON had a security escort?! Lordy. It's the end of the world as we know it.

Those fan girls are nuts. I'd have a security team with me if I was him.

The girls were screaming! The police "guided" my husband (who was ahead of me) out of the way---he had to wait for me about 100 feet away---I couldn't find him for a few minutes. Then once he (now I know it was Zac) got into the limo--the police went away.

Who reports crap like that? I realize that it's a gossip rag, but really: how the strippers were built and what kind of alcohol (BY BRAND) they were drinking?

Poor kid -- I'm sure if he had farted, that would have made print too.

It's obviously a clever PR plant by someone involved with the club. The giveaway is that they mention the strippers by name. Page Six is just trashy enough to report it.

1. He probably doesn't OWN the car he was riding in, and therefore the plates are no reflection on him. He was in town for the premeire of his new movie...so no doubt the car was paid for by the production.

2. I really don't get all the hate for this kid. Is he the best actor/singer/dancer in the world? No, but he isn't BAD either. He is certainly TRYING to make a varied career for himself.

3. His abs are freakin' amazing.

There was only a little ON this thread....I was really talking about in general.

I saw an article somewhere about his NY outings and made the mistake of reading the comments (which are always filled with hate no matter what the topic) and one person simply commented: What a douche. The article stated in very simple terms where the pix were taken and what his plans were accompanied with a few pix.

Oh yea, I never read comments on websites. Even something like CNN.com has really disturbing posts after their articles.

He may have great Abs...but there is NOTHING going on in his eyes,IMO. He has that BLANK emotion stare. I feel he has been extremely lucky so far in his career, on limited talent.
