Which ones am I missing? Here's the ones I can count.

NOTE: This list is only counting films produced under a Disney label. Not Buena Vista, not anything else. Just Disney films that have been adapted for the stage.

THE ARISTOCATS (Kids/Jr. Version under MTI)
ALICE IN WONDERLAND (Kids/Jr. Version under MTI)
SLEEPING BEAUTY (Kids/Jr. Version under MTI)
ALADDIN (Kids/Jr. Version under MTI)
THE LION KING*
THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (only in Germany though)*
HERCULES (on Cruise Lines only)
TOY STORY (on Cruise Lines only)
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST*
CINDERELLA (Kids/Jr. Version under MTI)
101 DALMATIONS (Kids/Jr. Version under MTI)
MULAN (Kids/Jr. Version under MTI)
PINOCCHIO (better known as 'My Son Pinocchio'. Kids/Jr. Version under MTI)
THE JUNGLE BOOK (Kids/Jr. Version under MTI)

*has had a regional/touring or Broadway production.

I also directed a very cannonized version of "Return to Oz" at my church, but that was sometime ago...and not directly referencing the film.

TARZAN

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Disney's Snow White also had a stage production at Radio City in 1979. There was also a stage production of Pocahontas for children using songs from Pocahontas and Pocahontas 2 in Germany that yielded a live cast recording in 2001.

Duh! Tarzan, Nemo and TLM. Wow, I'm dumb.

Wasn't Nemo in development for Broadway?

There's a quote somewhere from I think Ann Hamburger, the Executive VP of Walt Disney Creative Entertainment at the time, saying Nemo will not be moved to Broadway and will stay at Disney Word. Alas, I cannot find it...

Also, if we're talking parks, Pocahontas had a full-blown show at Disneyland and Disney's MGM Studios. (The other theme park productions are Aladdin, BatB, TLM, Hunchback, Jungle Book, Tarzan, The Lion King, and Snow White. There are probably more; I'm not all that well-versed with the foreign parks.)

Were the new songs written for Hunchback only in German or were they written in english and then translated? Any recorded in English?

Schwartz wrote them in English and a very talented writer translated them into German. There are demos of the English floating around from the early workshop. "Someday" has been recorded a few times. There is a very good version out there from Celtic Woman. The English versions of "Top of the World," "Made of Stone" and "Esmeralda" are wonderful.

Disney has also done non-film related work:

On the Record
Hoopz (workshop)
Carnival (a workshop for a potential revival)

Just got a few of MTI/ Disney's adaptations for perusals for next season.

Why are some of the songs missing from the movie's missing from the stage versions (i.e. sleeping beauty song, and skumps from Sleeping Beauty... most of the Pinochio songs for My Son Pinochio). Even some characters (no jiminy cricket in My Son Pinchio) I'm assuming it has to do with their licensing agreement....or maybe just artistic license...

My Son Pinochio is absolutely delightful, i highly recomend looking at it if you're looking for a wonderful fresh take with some great music for kids.

At Disney World I saw Hunchback which basically regurgitated the entire movie in about 30 minutes. That being said it was not bad at all and I really want to see the German version translated. I also saw the Aladdin at Disney World which was terrible in every conceivable way. Few can hold a candle to Beauty & The Beast show they have.

There is no Disney film version of Aida.

a very talented writer translated them into German

The sad part is that German is the only language he is especially adept in, which is why translating his musicals to English has either gone to **** (DOTV) or needed someone else to even do it (Rebecca).
