Posted: 1/11/10 at 7:11pmI read on Wikipedia (which, I know, in most cases is not a veritable source for anything) that Adrienne Bailon is joining IN THE HEIGHTS as Vanessa around the same time Corbin Bleu joins as Usnavi....can anybody confirm or deny this??

To be fair that was a thread on Mandy leaving ITH and there was very little discussing of it on there(I assume that is the thread your talking about)
Disney casting galore if this is true. I wouldn't mind this choice though, I think she has a good voice.

Posted: 1/11/10 at 7:50pmThe addition of two Disney staples (Bleu and Bailon), I think are an attempt to revive a dying show with some star power, make it more marketable to the "Disney"-age audience...or possibly both.

I could picture her more as Carla than Vanessa.
That said... I don't have anything against Marcy but if she is staying that is going to be SO awkward.
