I don't understand how they would have my contact info? My name is on the tickets, but I don't recall giving them my email or phone number. Do I need to proactively contact them (and if so, how?) or will they magically find me?

If you paid cash, you need to wait for the box offices to reopen.  If you paid by CC, they have all of your contact info.

Got the call tonight from the Hudson about my performance on 4/18. Looks like they're working through the dates, but I don't think there's any harm in calling them before they call you. The number is 855 801-5876.

There is lots of Telecharge confusion. I purchased my discounted Company tickets at the box office and last week received an email from Telecharge saying that I could click on a link and get a refund or exchange my tickets at the discounted rate. It now appears that the offer only applies to people who purchased tickets online. If you purchased your tickets at the box office Telecharge will automatically refund the cost to your credit card. No exchange is possible on the Telecharge site. You have to buy new tickets, which means the discount will not be honored.

Ticketmaster’s refunds section used to say that “refunds are available if your event is postponed, rescheduled, or canceled.” It now says that refunds are only available if your event is canceled. This means that anyone with tickets for a show that is rescheduled or postponed for a later date will be unable to get a refund. Furthermore, Ticketmaster is advising fans who are unable to attend a rescheduled show to sell their tickets via the Tickemaster resale marketplace. I get they want to keep as much money as they can but I don't have to like it.

Most of my telecharge refunds have come through. Right now what I am waiting for is Ticketmaster for Moulin Rouge, AR for points and cash for Six, and Roundabout for Caroline or Change. Also got my Take ms Out refund already which is kind of nice.

For our cancelled May trip:

Got an automatic refund for Flying Over Sunset weeks ago.  Went online last week and got a refund through Telecharge for TKAM.  Called Roundabout a couple of days ago, had a very short wait, gave the rep my order number and immediately got a refund for Caroline, or Change.

Haven't decided what to do about Assassins at CSC.  My daughter bought a youth membership, so we got two tickets for a very good price.  I may wait to see when they reschedule, and try to just transfer the tickets to a new date when we can get there.

I had tickets for 8 shows between March 17-23. Telecharge refunds for 7 of them and all cleared yesterday or today. Roundabout roadrunner email for one and they emailed to confirm refund last week, but it has not cleared yet,. They said 10 days."

I too did not get refund for one of my ticket.

Ticketmaster is a joke.  In my experience, though, they usually are going by what the box office policy is for the specific show.  For instance, I had tickets to Elton John last Friday at Barclays, and because Barclays is refusing refunds on anything that is postponed (also a complete joke), Ticketmaster wouldn't do anything about it.  But it may be worth calling the box office for the specific show?  At least notify them that Ticketmaster is refusing any refunds?  Could be worth a shot at least.

No, this is a new policy that has happened because of the pandemic. They absolutely will not be giving any refunds unless the event is canceled. They rescheduled me for a concert, I told them that date won't work for me, and they suggested I sell my ticket. During a damn national emergency. I get it, but it still really blows.

Agreed. I have one event that was postponed but no new date scheduled yet. So they just have my money until whenever.

Did the Public send you anything giving you an option for a refund. I checked my account on the Public’s website and they just gave me a credit for the price of my Visitor ticket, without any notification.

Yes, I am waiting on a tdf refund from a March show. They sent a few emails about donating or converting to a credit, but said they would be refunding if you didn't do that. They are probably short of staff (and funds).

The exact policy on their website is new, but they've been doing this for a while if the box office itself doesn't offer refunds.  It may be a lost cause, but I'd say it's worth it to at least call the box office of the event you had tickets for and talk to them about it.

I did talk to them, it's in my post that you quoted. Their new policy is rigid and there are no exceptions.

I had a similar experience with my ticket to the My Fair Lady tour in Chicago.  I had a ticket for a Tuesday evening in March 2020 that was rescheduled for a Thursday matinee in May 2021 (which I unsurprisingly am not able to attend).  I was originally told that a refund was not available.

However, I've been checking my Ticketmaster account every few days just in case anything changes.  This afternoon, I found that a "Request Refund" button had appeared in the "See Details" section of my My Fair Lady ticket.  It seems like box offices are changing their policies pretty frequently now, so what you were told in earnest on the phone today may no longer be true a few weeks from now.

Anyone received a refund from TodayTix? I had tickets to Company for the 23rd purchased during their fee-free period so I do not want a voucher. I've emailed them twice about a timeline on a refund since their policy does say they'll issue a refund if requested and both times received a generic "we will be in touch." It's been more than week since the closings were extended and nobody has been in touch. I don't know at what point I should request a chargeback from my credit card. I'll wait until at least a week after the scheduled show, but I can't wait forever.

Did you get contacted by Roundabout? I can't find a record of having gotten a notice from them. Have a ticket for the 4/22 performance. Maybe they just haven't done future scheduled performances yet. What was your date?

Got the rest of my Telecharge refunds today for performances 4/22-4/26. Ticketmaster still owes me for Six and a cancelled tour performance of Les Mis from last month.
