Those smug little men with their smug little schemes
They forgot one thing:

Ha ha ha, I love this so far. Pretty much anything by Jerry Herman would work. A lot of his music is quite bright and optimistic.

Also, "Morning Glow" is a PERFECT choice- Trump not getting reelected could easily sub for Pippin stabbing Charlemagne. Dark times transitioning to seemingly brighter days.

I'd throw it back even further and suggest a gender-bent "Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead."

I had forgotten this one: "This is the Moment". I heard it on the radio today,on the Sirius Broadway channel.

Maybe even "Defying Gravity". Kamala has,and is,defying obstacles.

"And nobody in the U.S.,no Trumpy that there is or was,

Is ever gonna bring me down."
