I saw that and I LOVE Coco.. but these judges read Monet every week for wearing a variety of ****cat wigs. Meanwhile Aiden wears the same one 4 out of 5 weeks. But the show has always judged the queens of color differently, so I'm not surprised Aiden gets away with it."
Not that I care much for Aiden’s wigs, but her outfits are simple enough to support a short wig. The problem with Monet was that her wigs felt in opposition to most of her outfits. Not saying Monet’s ethnicity had *nothing* to do with it, but I can at least see the difference between the two. And also that Monet was capable of the more they were asking for (obviously, since she won AS4), where Aiden is pretty limited.
Jesus, this snatch game is painful. Jackie, Gigi (and I guess) Heidi are doing well and I’m sure Sherry is hilarious but they’ve edited her down to almost nothing.
My heart wanted to side with Aiden because she's from the "backwoods" but I just couldn't. Nothing was compelling or interesting about her and she was just a mope.
Gigi is just slaying it. Looks and personality.
And I know she's been cancelled, but Sherry Pie is actually really great. I don't know. I mean I know what she did was awful, but I do feel bad for the girl. Like she manipulated a bunch of up and coming actors. That can be said for a LOT of people in NYC. It's all very weird.
Gosh. Brita wound up in the bottom again without blaming Aiden. I guess that's growth. Certainly more growth than Brita has demonstrated as a performer -- she's done the same schtick every week. Even the judges are noticing and don't seem amused.
Poor old Aiden. In over her head. Whatever.
At least they let us see a couple slices of Cancelled Pie's Katherine Hepburn.
Brita won ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR. Maybe she'll get around to making us understand why.

She intentionally lied to and manipulated over a dozen men (and probably more than we even know of) for her own sexual pleasure. Whether or not some of those men used poor judgment or whether other men in NYC have had similar experiences is utterly beside the point. You can acknowledge she’s performing well on the show and recognize her talent without thinking that talent trumps human decency.
I get Sherry Pie being taken out of consideration for winning and agree with it. But what do have a problem with is the editing here - Sherry is going to make it to the top 4 and watching this show (without any context of her outside actions) it won’t make any damn sense because they’re editing her out as much as possible. They really should just air the series as it’s been filmed and let people enjoy it. Doing this wonky cutting is only bringing MORE attention to Sherry.
> it won’t make any damn sense because they’re editing her out as much as possible.
It doesn't matter because she's already been disqualified and they've not let it air anywhere without bringing attention context to their decisions with the disclaimers.
>Doing this wonky cutting is only bringing MORE attention to Sherry.
It really isn't. I'm going long stretches of episodes forgetting she's even in it.
As for the Let It Go lip sync? That had more production value than Broadway's Let It Go...
It is silly not to show someone on the runway, and they end up in the top 3. I actually thought maybe I dozed off for a minute. There is editing and then there is editing. I don't even care for her. But this extreme editing has more to do for her bringing shame to RuPaul's show, then what she did to those boys.
I would have to wager it was Disney's doing that insisted on it. They didn't just decide now to cut her runway. Disney probably just wanted as little connection to her as possible which means no runway walk.

You mean Viacom? Disney doesn’t own VH1 or Drag Race.

The runway was based on Frozen, which, as I'm sure you know, Disney owns.
I did find it interesting though how they said it was based on the broadway musical of Frozen and played the OBC version of the song and not even reference the film. Seems an odd audience to be trying to sell the stage version to.

Disney paid for promotion with VH1 for Frozen on Broadway likely not expecting it to air in the middle of a global recession, but here we are...
I absolutely think it's an odd ass choice of promo as if the fags & teenage girls need to be made aware of Frozen on Broadway's existence... but what's worse is that Frozen can be on Drag Race but Lizzie McGuire isn't allowed to have sex as a 30+ year old on Disney Plus so her reboot got canceled...
Ohhhhh Patricia Quinn dragged the **** out of Aiden...
