Profile: Hey everyone! I am a college student attending Ithaca College in NY, majoring in occupational therapy. I really have no desires to act on stage, but because my mother is a talented costumer and seamstress and has worked on numerous touring productions and other professional productions, I was bound to get interested in the theater (I also grew up close to NYC, which helped). I love talking to new people especially if I know we have interests in common, so e-mail me!

re: Walmartopia Cast and Creative Revealed  Jul 24 2007, 08:58:08 AM
What's bad about it? The story, the music, cast, or everything? Sounds kinda interesting.
re: A Patrick Wilson Moment  Jul 20 2007, 09:15:55 PM
Thanks muscle :) I've seen the one with Emmy and ummm, yeah. Anyways, ahhh Patrick. One of the few saving graces of the PotO movie. If you want a really great clip of him singing, check out his rendition of "If I Loved You" from Carousel. Really good!
re: Love Songs - Classic vs. Contemporary  Jun 29 2007, 07:35:54 PM
Well, my boyfriend and my song is "They Were You" from the Fantasticks. A little uncommon because it's about losing love and rediscovering it, but we like it :)

Bumping up an old thread, but...has anyone seen her as Christine? Curious to know. Extremely sweet and pretty voice.
re: The Huffington Post: 'Why the Tony Awards are Flopping on TV'  Jun 7 2007, 11:04:53 AM
Definitely agree alot of it comes down to money, as Mr Roxy and couple of people have pointed out. RentBoy86: "The Tony Awards will never be a "big" show because the majority of people don't go to the theater anymore. It's as simple as that."
I agree, but why don't they go? Sure mainstream tastes have changed, but I can only speak for myself. If I had more money, you'd bet I'd be going to more shows.
Alot of it also I think comes down to accessibility in shows, location and money. B

re: Phantom Think of Me question  May 15 2007, 07:45:38 PM
When Christine and the Phantom sing "Wandering Child" in the Graveyard scene, Raul enters and sings (on the OLC) making it a trio ("Once again she is his..."). Why they cut it out of the Broadway is a mystery, it's pretty.
re: Mandy Patinkin & Kristin Chenoweth 'Fantasticks' Duet.  May 4 2007, 10:28:03 PM
A bit different from what I'm used to...but interesting. I'm not a huge fan of Kristin, but I like her in this. Thanks muscle :)
PS Muscle: I would do anything to see Jennifer Hope Wills in the Fantasticks too!

re: Behind The Curtain of The Fantasticks: Anthony's VBlog #2  May 3 2007, 09:46:14 PM
Um, I never assumed he was approached by other shows. I meant that he maybe was eying other shows.
re: Behind The Curtain of The Fantasticks: Anthony's VBlog #2  May 2 2007, 07:46:16 PM
I haven't seen him yet so I can't say too much (and no, I don't watch American Idol), but I do admire the fact that even though he could have chosen from a number of Broadway spectacles (*cough* Grease perhaps? *cough*) he chose a great show that really showcases talent because of its simpleness and intimacy. Kudos to him.
re: Anthony Federov in THE FANTASTICKS pictures  May 1 2007, 05:04:04 PM
In most productions I've seen of The Fantasticks, the costumes vary from production to production, albeit the same themes, e.g. Luisa is wearing "innocent" type clothes, a skirt or dress and blouse, Matt is in conservative "boy next door" clothes etc. And I have seen productions where the fathers in are in loud clothes like that.
Which production was Luisa originally in a gingham dress? The one with Rita Gardner or the original 1 act with Susan Watson? Because all pics I have seen from

Jennifer Hope Wills
re: Wills takes over Christine in Phantom 12/12  Dec 9 2006, 11:19:26 AM
Oh, this makes me so happy. As has already been said, she is an amazing person, truly grateful for her success (go to her website!), and of course, has a lovely voice. Can't wait until I go home and finally get to see her!

How is the student rush line? Planning on going sometime before Thanksgiving.
re: ***BEWARE** Scalpers taking over Jersey Boys rush!!!!  Oct 16 2006, 01:07:43 AM
No one minded that they were partial view? If I were to pay those ridiculous prices, they better be REALLY good seats!
re: stunning broadway stars?  Oct 10 2006, 05:59:23 PM
Jennifer Hope Wills. Beautiful voice, stunning looks, wonderfully sweet personality. What more could you want?
re: hocus pocus the musical  Oct 4 2006, 09:27:17 PM
If this were to happen I would die...of happiness. The special effects would be something to see!
re: WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD COLLEGE FOR MUSICAL THEATRE?¿?  Oct 2 2006, 08:48:08 PM
Woo-hoo, I go to Ithaca College!
re: Jersey Boys-9/24  Sep 24 2006, 10:27:24 PM
Glad you had a good time and that John is feeling better! Hope to see it again once I return home.
re: John Lloyd Young's fan mail  Sep 23 2006, 10:46:25 AM
Wow, I'm beginning to get the idea that you really like JLY.
re: Broadway look-a-likes  Sep 22 2006, 09:34:49 PM
I was just going to make a thread like this! The reason--there is a kid who goes to my college who looks almost exactly like John Lloyd Young. He's even on the shorter side.
