THE VAGABOND PLAYERS PRESENT TALK RADIO Written by Eric BogosianCreated for the Stage by Eric Bogosian and Tad SavinarStreaming June 25 27The Vagabond Players is excited to present its first virtual production for its 105th season, Eric Bogosians Pulitzer Prize-nominated comedy-drama, Talk Radio.Barry Champlain, Clevelands subversive and controversial radio host is on the air doing what he does best: insulting and provoking the sad souls who call in the middle of the night to sound off. He likes to push buttons --- and the envelope. On an evening that could determine IF his show goes into national syndication, will Barrys outrageous behavior and commentary cause his sponsors to cancel and his personal life to further unravel??? Funny, moving and totally original, this high voltage production is recommended for mature audiences. A compelling work that draws you straight into the heart of its fringe world. It makes the call-in show a metaphor for Americas lost souls. NewsdayPure theatrical adrenaline. Time Out, New YorkAs a thank-you to our loyal audiences, donors and supporters, the Vagabond Players will be streaming Talk Radio free of charge from June 25-27, 2021.
